After spending like 45 minutes looking for a cheap place to eat where I could, you know, eat without going broke, I saw Burrito Café. Most restaurants around that area offer lunch menu that’s basically 1 dish and 1 drink for about £15, so I was glad I could have unlimited drinks, a big meal and nachos for less money. There’s not much to choose from, and it’s all quite spicy so skip this place if your stomach is weak, but they serve big sized food and I liked that. I ordered quesadillas and it was huge! The waitress was really lovely too, I heard another staff member say it was her first day and he was teaching her but she did really good for a first day. It may not be the best place ever but hey, it’s cheap, it tastes good, and it’s in an area where everything else is incredibly expensive!

I’ve been twice and although it’s a small place with limited choice, the burritos are massive and very tasty. I had the pulled pork one with beans, peppers, guacamole, cheese and green sauce and honestly loved it. I haven’t tried to add rice and the red salsa is very spicy.

Not bad. Quesadillas could be cut in smaller pieces so they don’t slouch in your hands. Can be a quick pitstop before theatre. Nachos can be good. You dress your burrito/quesadilla with your choice of toppings. Would be nice if they had more choices to spice things up. Good value for money. They serve Mexican beers.

We bought a voucher for Burrito Café so popped along on Thursday. There were supposedly 4 options for filling — however on our visit only chicken and beef were available. The serving staff were unable to advise about the difference in rice and bean options — she literally said ‘i have no idea’ not helpful. Salads were limited and the end result is very much an overly average meal. I would not return and suggest if you are trying to get new customers by running a voucher deal the very least you can do is deliver a product and service people will re visit for.

Came and had 2 burritos and some churros and it was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. 4 options are available; chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian. Unfortunately at 6 o’clock on a Thursday they had no pork available so we opted for 1 chicken and 1 beef. The flavour from the chicken wasn’t too bad and that was definitely the better of the 2 however it required the addition of quite a bit of hot sauce to improve the flavour. Of the 3 chilli sauces available on the supposedly hot one seemed to have any real flavour so bare that in mind if you do order and there are nachos on the counter for you to try them. The churros bought in ready made and frozen and taste like they have been. No real flavour to them and a fairly unpleasant texture. The only enjoyable thing about the meal was my bottle of Sol!

I’ve been back to the burrito café a couple of times and I gotta say it’s growing on me. They’ve improved the flour tortilla and the salad is MASSIVE! The salads are seriously packed with nearly whatever you’d like — they even let you mix and match the different kinds of filling — and I think chicken is still my favorite. I dunno something about the nacho chips too are really good with the salsa. If you have a tastecard, there is a good 2 for 1 deal which makes a good lunch time special.

Me and my boyfriend visited here on Tuesday 3rd June using our groupon and we thought it was lovely. The hot drinks and chocolate sauce was gorgeous. Also customer service was great. Highly recommend this little café.

I stopped by here for a burrito recently and it was undoubtedly one of the worst food decisions ever! The portion sizes are unbelievably small and I was left wondering where I was going to go afterwards because I knew I’d still be hungry. To make matters worst, the whole meal tasted so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. The chicken was so dry and tasteless whilst the beans and rice were just as bad. I used a Groupon voucher so perhaps that’s why they were so stingy with their portion sizes. But still, if they are going to participate with Groupon, they should uphold the same standards they would to regular paying customers. In conclusion, I’m definitely NEVER going back to Burrito Café as it was the worst burrito I’ve ever had!
