Plus, he donates tips to a charity to help under-​privileged children play music!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience in this shop. I bought my boyfriend and I a whisky tasting afternoon and it far excelled my expectations. We were hosted by the most knowledgable, friendly and welcoming gentleman, Richard, and the entire afternoon was one of the best I’ve ever had. I learnt so much! We will definitely be going back for his advice — he knew our taste better than we knew our own. Just superb, could not recommend higher. I was a little overwhelmed !

Amazing whisky tasting tour… I love a good whisky and during the tasting I had the opportunity to try many. I learned loads about whisky that I didn’t know even after going on several distillery tours while in Scotland. The man who introduced us to the different whiskies was very knowledgeable. The only downside was we signed up for the tour with hors d’oeuvres and when we arrived they were on the table but no one invited us to partake. We spent most of the time wondering whether it was ok to eat them. However that is of little importance. The whisky was excellent and we came away with two bottles for drinking at home.

Went in to pick up a bottle of whisky for a colleague who had just had a child.
Arrived in and this lovely gentleman came up and kindly talked me through the colleague’s tastes (I didn’t know) and gave me some background on a few of the bottles within my price range.
He explained the history so passionately that I ended up going with the bottle with the best story behind it.
He was also very complimentary about the fellow business owners on his street and invited me to a whisky tasting session.
I thought it was a lovely little boutique shop and the owner was extremely helpful!

I reached out to the gentlemen that run the shop (Richard and Stephen) a few weeks back. I’m a big whisky fan (have over 150 bottles) and they had two bottles I’m interested in. Unfortunately they don’t ship internationally — however, I remembered that my wife is going to London for a trip in a few weeks. I explained this to them — and told them about what particular single malts I collect.
Stephen went out of his way to search the store for other potential bottles that I might like, and indeed found one that I never imagined I’d get. He even had it brought in from a different location.
To top that off, they’ve offered to drop these bottles off at my wife’s hotel in a few weeks when she arrives — so they’ll be waiting for her.
You seriously don’t see this level of customer service anymore — especially here in the United States. These gentlemen really made my day and went FAR above and beyond to meet my needs. When I come to the UK — I know the very first shop that I shall be visiting. OUTSTANDING!!! 6 stars!

Stumbled across this well stashed joint while strolling Marylebone High Street area. Tucked away was this gem just a street over. It’s a tiny shop ran by a very knowledgable gentleman. They host tasting sessions every day and if you book ahead you can reserve private tastings for your group. Much to my surprise the shop had a large selection of American bourbons, to which I am a very big fan of. This place is great for learning whiskeys and doubles as a nice place for gifts if you’re in the market. Recommend stopping by for a chat with the guys at the shop. Additionally, if you order online they will deliver to certain postal codes.

This whisky shop is amazing. They have a superb selection and great customer service. There is even a 1919 Macallen’s if you have £65,000 to spare.
My friend purchased a bottle of Hazelburn whisky from the Springbank Distillery for £50.00 for the office. You know, for those Mad Men moments when you just need a drink at work.
I highly recommend this shop. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the product and it has a great traditional British feel to it. Oh, and the whisky was great.

I did a Whiskey tasting here with the boyfriend. The gentleman that did the tasting was informative, and friendly. He told us about the 4 regions in Scotland and we tasted a Whiskey from all the regions discovering the subtle differences in each one.
At 15£ a head for a 45min tasting of 6 different whiskey’s I say yay! The shop itself is small but stocked full of a range of whiskey’s, many good bottles falling in the 30£ range. A great place to go if you like whiskey or need a gift. These guys can help you find what ever you need.
I believe it is the owner that is usually there. I saw him but he did not do our tasting. He was nice and we were told he has been in this business for donkey’s years! So he certainly would not steer you wrong :).

So, let me preface this with the fact that I absolutely despise the taste of whisky. But this shop actually makes me want to be a whisky drinker. Even though I don’t touch the stuff, my boyfriend loves it. So as a little treat I went whisky shopping for him. The shop is amazing. There is a huge chalkboard with all sorts of rare and interesting whiskies to choose from. And the walls are covered with bottles from floor to ceiling.
Believe it or not, their price range spans from £20 to £65,000. And no, that was not a typo, these people are serious about their love for this poison. I do wonder who would pay that much for one bottle of whisky.
My experience was extremely pleasurable. The shopkeeper was able to help me pick out an extra special bottle within my price range and make the process of buying quite easy and understandable for a non-​whisky-​drinker.
They also offer tastings and group tastings of both whiskies and gins. Maybe one day I will learn to appreciate a good whisky, but for now, I’ll leave that to the boys.

If you like whisky, and I mean REALLY like whisky — or are buying for someone who does, then this is the place for you! they have hundreds of different varieties and vintages. Some reasonable, some so much you’ll need a ggod drink after seeing the price, but all excellent quality and also expertly sold.
They also have a good selection of cigars. now where did I put my smoking jacket
