Great little crêpe restaurant that we found late on a Sunday evening. Staff were packing up but only too happy to take the orders and prepare the crêpes for us. Had the Nutella and Banana crêpe, it was a bigger than average serving size and a delicious dessert. Certainly worth trying if you have a taste for crêpes !!

This is a very tiny restaurant that really relies on its outdoor space… then packs you in like sardines into said outdoor space. This leads to a number of awkward exchanges should you need to use the ladies’, or leave your seat for anything, really. I ordered a bacon and cheese crêpe. It was okay, although the bacon was so salty my husband found it inedible. Since I love salt, I was able to finish it, but even I thought it was salty. He ordered the ham and cheese crêpe, which was very nice. He also had a cappuccino, which may be one of the best cappuccinos I have ever had. This place is a bit expensive for crepes. They are filling, but I am just not sure they justify the price for what is a really easy entrée to make. The service was okay.

Sigh… This place has so much potential! The crêpes and hot chocolate were delicious! The location is charming. But it’s(slightly) overpriced, and nothing came at the same time(we ordered 2 crêpes, and 2 hot drinks). They were not particularly busy and service was not great. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t come with a smile and seemed disorganised.

Service was average, nothing to praise about. It did take a while for our food(crêpe & sundae) to arrive. The prices are very expensive! You could get a similar size crêpe and even better quality for £3 from the sellers on the main street! The quality was decent and the portion was more than enough. Wouldn’t pay a visit again.

This place is located in a very cute courtyard with other cute restaurants. But it’s a tourist trap, hence my ensnarement. Also, I was staying at a place right around the corner and I was hungry for a crêpe. It looks better than it tastes. I think I got the marsala crêpe. The chicken was dry and the sauce was bland. UGH. Everything in British pounds makes it that much more expensive and totally not worth it.

Bad Service, slow and rude. Crepes are not made fresh but made in advance and then reheated. Such a shame. In my opinion a creperie = Fresh Crepes! The place could do with a facelift it feels old and unclean, NOT old and charming. They don’t seem to value their customers, apparently they don’t need our business. So why should we support you getting your wages by eating there? That thought does not seem to cross there mind! It is such a shame because the location is great and the place has a lot of potential.

Café Creperie is located in St Christopher’s Place near Oxford Street. This is a great sit down venue to eat crêpe at and watch the world go by. When the weather gets better it is great to sit outside. The Crêpe aren’t the greatest but they aren’t that bad. The chocolate banana crepes are by far the nicest.

As a native from Bretagne, I have to say that I enjoyed my crêpe complète(egg, ham, cheese) very much, the authentic one is made with buckwheat which you have to ask for is you want a great taste. Plus you can order a great Normandy cider with it! But I also have to agree with the other reviews about the poor atmosphere and service. The South Kensington branch is a bit better in my opinion. Nevertheless, it’s cheap and I would recommend it for a late lunch in the weekend. Crêpe is good for hangover!

In four statements, nice crepes, nice outside setting, very bad service and old and dirty tables.

I quite like this one in the summer, it’s in a good position in the square and at least half of café seems to be outside. The menu is a pretty decent balance of sweet and savory crepes. I usually go for the latter, purely because I’m usually there at lunch time and it feels more appropriate. Really I think though the sweet ones are probably the best — I’m just too confined by habit to know. I have tried them when my more sensible friends have ordered them and the chocolate/ice cream combo one in particular is just right. They do a nice enough cappuccino too and if you’re shopping around and about in this area this is a pretty good choice in crowed St. Christopher’s Place.

Here you have an extensive selection of crepes, wrapping like little parcels decorated with salad or cream. Really love their sweet crêpe, it is large enough to be a main course and delicious too. The savoury ones are also good but depend on the fillings you choose. Service is typically French– slow.

This Creperie is located on the very atmospheric(esp at night) and parisien St James street making it hard to think that the polluted oxford street is a stone throw away. I was extremely impressed by the wide selection of crepes they had on offer but less impressed when the crepes actually arrived. They were rather small and in my case rather luke-warm. The crêpe pastry also seemed a bit old. So on the food front this place is quite a disappointment. However because of its heaters and seats outside i would recommend it to anyone who is fed up of oxford street and wants a quick coffee whilst soaking up the atmosphere of one of london’s quaintest streets
