Amazing I totally love their coffee/chocolate Concerning theirs pastries I took the tiramisu with a taste of rhum maybe a bit too strong

Should have looked here before I went in. Actually getting this stop started was terrible. It took about 15 mins before anyone came to us after we were sat and then our desserts were served one after another which was just weird. Our bottle of bubbles didn’t even show up until after the first dessert. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The service is not so good, not welcoming at all. We were waiting to our friends, and they forced us to order drinks before our friend arrived… Not even one drink, but two!

This place looks posh and it is posh. And pricey. I’ve ventured there looking for some Sunday pudding. The cakes on the window display looked awesome so I have gave up for The Black Forest cake. And it was good. But overall the atmosphere in this place is really touristy and I am not so sure really about other types of food you can get there. I think you should be able to find something better in Mayfair(I doubt something cheaper). But maybe with a more intimate atmosphere.

Awful. We went for breakfast and the food actually wasn’t that bad but the service was terrible making us miserable. The restaurant was half empty yet they insisted on seating dinners right next to one another rather than giving everyone a bit of room. The waitstaff seemed to try to be deliberately stupid and slow(maybe a bit hungover). The manager showed up and the first thing he did rather than give his staff a bit of training was turn the music up. Keep walking and stop at one of the next cafes down the road.

Take cover! My wife was hit in the back of the head by a ricocheting Prosecco cork launched by the waitress opening a bottle at another table, and did not even receive an apology! The waitress who opened the bottle knew what she had done and was probably more embarrassed than deliberately rude, but the lack of any acknowledgement from the staff was unacceptable. We later gave the cork to a different waitress and received an apology. We only stopped in for a quick dessert while wandering back to our friend’s hotel, and were further disappointed. My wife loves chocolate mousse, but didn’t finish hers, as it was a poor example of this classic dessert. My cannoli was tasty enough, but a long way from others I’ve had; not recently made, either. I can’t even recall what our friend had. Not only do you risk injury due to poorly trained staff, but you also won’t get decent food. This place shows the signs of a restaurant that is only in business thanks to its location and transient clientele, and not on the merit of its food.

We were the first customers in the morning, or at least appeared to be. We had horrible service as well as eye rolls when we were asked where we would like to do sit. The coffee arrived at the same time as the breakfast and we were never asked for refills on the coffee. As the next customers came in, it seemed like The wait staff and managers were skilled in rolling their eyes. It was sad to see because they just made a bad name for the French, AGAIN.

We ordered the salmon benedict, and the portion is really small for the price of 10 pounds. I would recommend you get the daily special or the croquet madam, which have much better portion size to price ratios. The taste is not bad definitely much better than some of the other tourist trap places that we visited. The atmosphere is also great! When you come around noon though, you can choose to either order breakfast or lunch. I would recommend the lunch as we saw that the lunch portions are much more reasonable. The pastry here also looks amazing. I might try it next time when I stop by, but I may just not do breakfast again.

Stopped in here at about 1030 on a weeknight, was promptly sat, and ordered the Duck Confit and a glass of Pinot Grigio. The Duck literally melted off the bone — no knife needed. The smashed potatoes were sweet potatoes(way healthier), and there were two slices of apples. Mixing the apple, sweet potatoes, and duck for one bite was absolutely scrumptious. Excellent wine, and service. Definitely will return.

Stopped in here late, around 11:30. Was looking for some dessert and a little Amaretto to take the edge off a hectic day of sightseeing. The layout is open with a display in front showcasing their cakes. We settled on a sinfully rich black forest cake, which was a perfect compliment to an Amaretto. The cake was dark and moist without being heavy and the Amaretto was perfectly poured. The service was great and we sat by the window where you can watch people heading home for the evening or ones just going out for the night. Overall I would recommend this as a good pit stop on the way home.
