I was really dismayed to see a 1 star rating for café Pascucci from the previous reviewer! This unassuming café is a rare beast, an eatery that offers an extensive menu but still manages to give each dish the loving attention it so rightly deserves. So whether you opt for the goat’s cheese salad or the comforting spaghetti Bolognese you can be sure that you’ll be presented with generous portions and that you’ll delight over each flavour packed morsel. Like a rubber ball, I’ve been bouncing back to this café for over 2 years now, each time leaving happy, full and suitably fuelled up for a spot of window shopping. With most mains under £10, it would be foolish to overlook Pascucci for the more polished strip of restaurants on Northcote road.

There was this girl I remember from my childhood named Christine Pascucci. She was 10, but had a beard and smelled like piss and that is exactly how my latte from this place tasted like. All the signs were there to walk away. Empty café, old pastries on display, greasy guy behind the counter and month-long-caked-up-burnt milk frother screaming, «RUNAWAYNOW»!

This is a nice little, independently owned café that has recently been refurbished probably to compete with the Costa that has just opened over the road. They offer some great toasted paninis, jacket potatoes, and other hearty grub for lunchtimes and serve a variety of coffees to kickstart your day on the way to the Junction.
