You would think judging from the number of people eating at the Raj Tandoori that the food must be horrible. I’ve never seen more than 2 people eating here at any time. But that is more likely to its location, isolated from any heavy-​traffic areas.
The food is good, as good as many other curry houses in London. There is a good selection of tikkas, curries, and vegetarian dishes. Kingfisher beer is also a plus to have. The vegetable samosa was a bit on the salty side for me, but the vegetable dishes I had (dal, chana masala, and saag paneer) were all good — the dal was especially flavorful.
If you can handle being the only people in the restaurant, I highly recommend checking out the Raj Tandoori.

Best Indian in Rotherhite without a doubt. Super nice people. I’ve eaten in and had it delivered. Great selection and 99% of anything I’ve ordered has been great. You could chuck a dart at the menu to make your selection and you won’t be disapointed.
