After a VERY long and trying trip, this place was an unexpected welcome. We stopped by for a much needed caffeine infusion, but instead of the usual mindless barista dribble we received the insights, empathy, and cordiality usually found with a bar keep. It was wonderful. AND he gave us candy… caffeine, compassion, and candy-​yeah. We’ll be back.

The food here is good and comes with great service.
The owners are super friendly and work hard to make sure you leave satisfied! This is what makes this small, local place so special. It is always busy and brings a sense of community to West Kensington. It really does have a great vibe.
The few tables out front are wonderful during spring or summer. Perfect for reading a book or a free copy of one of the daily newspapers over some coffee and breakfast.
I usually order the Eggs Royale or (vegetarian) English breakfast; just the right amount of food and it all tastes fresh! Everything is made to order.
