Even though I grew up in the New Malden area, it’s only recently that I’ve started eating Korean food, and as they say, better late than never! This is the 2nd of the«best» Korean restaurants in the area that I’ve been to, and overall, I was really impressed. The food here is full of flavour, extremely well cooked and the service is superb. As I was here with a large group, we smashed our way through most sections of the menu, even trying their famous blood pudding sundae(steamed)! It’s surprisingly delicious, and with the addition of the rice noodles into the pudding, is totally unlike the classic British version which is stodgy and very rich! Standout dishes here were the BBQ meat, vegetable pancake, the banchan(small side dishes), pickled radish and kimchee. I was impressed by the food but not bowled over by it, and the overall price is perhaps a bit more than you would expect, given that it’s not central London and there are plenty of other Korean restaurants in the area to sink your teeth into. Overall though, the service was superb and attentive, the food definitely earning its reputation of good Korean food. Were it not for the great service, my rating would be more like 3.5 on the food alone!

This restaurant is a simple, no frills restaurant run by Koreans. The majority of the patrons are Koreans too. Both times I came here, I was the only non korean. They have set lunches on Mondays to Fridays. Their menu has quite a good variety. The spicy marinated duck is awesome, although it is pricey for the portion that they give. Their pa-jeon is worth a try, the kimchi jiggae is not particularly strong but nice enough. They’re generous with their honey citron in the honey citron tea and they serve a different kind of rice with their stews and soups, it’s purple! Overall, this place is nice to have korean food but be prepared to pay quite a bit especially if there are less people in your group.

One of the best kept secrets in South London — unless you’re Korean, in which case you’ve probably heard of and been to this place! Its a small restaurant a few minutes walk from Raynes Park train station. Not the easiest to get to unless you drive(free parking in front for customers) or live locally. But the food is authentic Korean, and prices are reasonable. They’re also one of the few Korean restaurants in London that do the traditional Korean ginseng chicken soup(samgyetang) — although for that, make sure you order by phone at least two hours in advance. There’s a reason why there’s a queue outside this restaurant at around 8pm on a Saturday night!

Very interesting place that really worth the visit. The restaurant itself has a nice design, well ventilated, relaxing, and a pleasant atmosphere. Service is really top notch and all the staffs were very friendly and attentive. All in all, a highly recommended place that you can’t miss it.

The restaurant has a Korean touch. It has a lovely design from floor up tothe ceiling;there is a patio at the back part of the restaurant and a bar in the middle of it. The kimchees were perfectly cooked and has a heavenly taste with just enough tangsand not too much sour.

Amazing value and great atmosphere. Surely one of the best Korean restaurants in SW20, and there are a few.
