Its the last time I come here. I asked for round nails, I got square — except for the ones on my index fingers for some reason? They are also different lengths. When I told the nail tech, he sighed, looked at them, and started a debate in a foreign language with his colleagues right in front of me. I find this very rude as it always puts the customer in an uncomfortable position. He also cut my cuticle. I do not recommend this place. As convenient as the location might be(I myself live next to the salon), I suggest you get your nails done in Marylebone since I can’t find a good salon in Camden. Its usually the same price or a 5£ difference, but most salons in that neighbourhood will leave your hands looking 1M$.

Ugh. I went here again against my better judgement. I think they’ve gotten worse. The nail tech was in a foul mood and giving me attitude right off the bat. She practically rolled her eyes at me because I wanted my toe nails short. Sorry, I don’t want claws! She didn’t file my hand nails at an even length. She saw a hangnail ANDTRIEDTOPULLITOUT! What. The. Fuck!!! Girl, you got tools for that! That completely hurt and is quite unacceptable. The tech kept sneezing on her hands and touching me. Tacky. Ladies, you know the massage at a mani/pedi is the cherry on top. This lady barely touched my legs and gave me NO hand massage. The spa chair was very ghetto and only went from barely touching to manic jackhammer. Only pluses are that they have a lot of OPI colors and their theading is nice but avoid, avoid, avoid! Have a relaxing time elsewhere. I know I will not be going back.

I wanted to give our daughter a manicure for her 18th birthday, but coming from Denmark, I had no idea where to go for a good manicure, so we ended up, just walking in to this place. They had a 20 min. waiting and then could do both me and her. Lovely. When your native language is not English and neither is the person you’re trying to communicate with, funny situations can arise. Not that nails are the most complicated subject, but we ended up gesturing, pointing and mimcking a lot. We had a basic maniure with a choice of regular polish. They were super fast, like 15 min., but did an excellent job, not a flaw to be seen. And it cost us £10 per person. That not a bad deal.

This salon is literally one of the worst places i’ve ever had the misfortune of entering. The staff were so unbelievably rude and non responsive to questions about colour etc. visibly talking shit about me to other staff. The first person getting up mid manicure and walking off. The second person then taking over the unfinished job. Actually being hurt at the hands of nail technician hacking away at my skin around my nails, this was far from relaxing, as i flinched in pain throughout the whole awful process. The final product was bad. I had read a bad review about this place prior to going but didn’t really think it would be this bad. I would not recommend anyone going there for any treatment, save your cash and head to any of the many other nail places in the area for a safer, better job.

Sad to update this review. Have been back twice since I wrote my initial glowing review. The first time my nails came out gloopy and lumpy as the technician didn’t wash my nails after filing them. It also took two hours for my mani/pedi to finish. The second time I just got a mani and my nails look great but the technician(a different one again) was so rude and grumpy that I felt scared of her! They have lost my loyalty unfortunately. Still, a good selection of colours and loyalty stamp card is a bonus… If you want to keep going back, that is.

I agree with Sara O. when she said it is an emergency place to go to don’t agree with her when she said it is not value for money– I thought this place is very reasonably priced– I had to ask twice ‘how much?’ before paying where would you get a manicure for £10!!! I could not believe my ears especially that I had a fairly good service — IT is not the best but it is more than acceptable especially when you compare it to high end places that charge triple the price and do lousy manicures! I think I will be going back soon– especially when it is an emergency manicure I walked in and had a manicure done in less than 20 minutes I did not enjoy the loud chats that did not stop for a second though — loud and incomprehensible ;-) I left with an acute headache

Date the next day, checking my list: Cute dress… check. Cute shoes… check. Manicure…oh hell. Cue me running around, trying desperately trying to find a place that won’t bankrupt me but that can give my hands emergency TLC. A tenner for a manicure, seemed like a bargain and in a pinch, I decided to chance it. Well, you really get what you pay for; the guy who did my nails didn’t seem to have that much skill at it(streaks that another lady had to fix), the service was not friendly and to top it off, my nails are flaking after 1 ½ days. Really not impressed, when my normal place usually lasts over a week. It’s an emergency place but definitely not a value for money place.
