The atmosphere is nice and the people are friendly, but the food isn’t very good. The liver was cut up before it was fried so it dried out. The bangers and mash were overcooked and bland. It was kind of a let down.

I loved this place. Some of the best food I had in London. I came here for breakfast and wish I could have come here again. I stood in Kings Cross but was only in the area for 2 days. They had a cheap menu that had lots to offer. I had an omelette, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice… it was probably 6 pounds. Highly recommended!

We were staying in the area and went here for breakfast because of the Unilocal reviews. Then went back every morning after that. Good food. Good prices and good service.

Went for Breakfast today, and it was super! Staff was nice, and the food was perfect. If we weren’t leaving today, we would be back again for breakfast tomorrow.

I came here 4 times in the summer when I was staying at the nearby Tune Hotel. The food here is nothing to write home about. Greasy, and although cheap, still overpriced for what it is. The thing to be concerned about, however, is the service. I was disrespected by the server/waitress on more than one occasion. It was general rudeness – like her giving me pointed, strange looks when I spoke to her. Note: English is my first language and one of three languages that I speak. There was literally no reason why the server needed to look at me with an eyebrow raised every time I ordered a full English breakfast. Her disrespect put a damper on my stay in that neighborhood. I would recommend that you stay far away from here if you want to be treated respectfully.

Good food, friendly staff, fair prices, good portions. We had breakfast here when we stayed at the Tune Hotel across the street. The Full English was exactly what we expected, and the perfect start into the day.

We stayed at Tune Hotel nearby and ate 3 breakfasts here! We always ordered the full breakfasts and had our first taste of bubble and squeak here. Very friendly waitress we talked with every morning. The food was very good, quick, and affordable. I would definitely return and recommend it to other travelers!

Same as Armen below, i stayed at Tune Hotel across the street as well and noticed this place as i was walking down from King’s Cross station. I was looking for a simple English breakfast and this place has it all for only £5.95. They also have selection of sandwiches for £2−4, what a great deal! The most impressive thing about Cappadocia is that there is only one waiter and two cooks for the entire place but the service quality was not compensated even when the place was full. I am impressed!

Einfach, gut, freundlich und günstig. Ideal für ein tägliches Frühstück, wenn man in einem Hotel um die Ecke wohnt. Man darf aber auch keine kulinarische Explosion erwarten…

I stayed at the Tune hotel across the street for four nights. Each morning I had breakfast at Cappadocia. It’s a small place, with maybe 8 tables inside and a few more outside under an awning. They have interesting photos and artwork from famous(and not so famous) movies — perhaps the owners are film buffs. They serve a full English breakfast all day, with many options — you can basically order any combination you like. Most days I had an omelet. Everything was hot and tasted great. The prices seemed totally reasonable. For Americans, a couple of things. The full English breakfast always has beans. You just can’t get away from them unless you ask. Also, hash browns aren’t the same — they’re more like a triangle of pre-fab shredded potatoes, sort of like at McDonald’s. But they’re still tasty. The best thing about Cappadocia is their waitress Denise. She greets everyone with a smile and made me feel right at home. She remembered the quirks of my order each day, which was really cool. I felt like I really belonged in the neighborhood. She told me that she’s only worked there a month — I hope she stays, because she’s great. If you’re looking for breakfast near King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations, Cappadocia is just a couple of blocks away.
