I was optimistic about this place but ultimately I do not plan on going back:

Good location just off high street Kensington
Decently priced
Pretty good service, although there was hardly anyone in there at the time so least they can do is appropriately service the few customers they had at the time
Good options for wines by the glass

Bruschetta appetizer just wasn’t good
My lasagna was served luke warm, which is a shame, I think if my food would have been hot I’d probably have given them 3 stars.

I had eggs benedict as takeaway from here yesterday which was delicious, and eggs florentine takeaway today. All were cooked very quickly and served in the right sort of takeout container. Reasonably priced at under £8. The eggs florentine could have used a bit more hollandaise sauce, however, but the poached eggs were done to perfection. I have to say I would rather they served the eggs benedict/florentine on a traditional muffin instead of a thick slab of bread, but nevertheless I would order again. I also had English breakfast tea which was served steaming hot.

Really lovely décor and nice outdoor seating during spring and summer. The food however is just average — for me Carluccios feels like an upmarket McDonalds. In this particular venue the service is really slow. I recommend this place as somewhere to grab a good hot chocolate and nice desert with a friend but for food you’re better off going to Café Phillies on the next side street or Balans on high street Kensington.

Wish I could give this place a good review as their other outlets are good.
The food here was good, but the waiting staff were so disinterested I felt like being a customer was interrupting their rest time.
Their English was so poor they got my very minor requst on the order so weing they brought the wrong food.
Will go to this chain again, but not this branch
