A no-frills, local sandwich shop that does All-Day Breakfast. Stopped by simply because I was hungry and it started to rain. Two window seats and about seven two-seat tables. My guess is this place would only be crowded on weekdays for breakfast and lunch. The can make maybe any sandwich you want and for cheap. I asked for a ham sandwich with cheese and that is what I got. «Sit down» is what I was told and one minute later a ham & cheese on white arrived with my tea. Mustard? No. Lettuce? No. Mayonnaise? No. Like I wrote, no frills. £2.50 for the sandwich.(There is a piece of ham on the floor from when i came in. Hmm.)

I ate a bap here the size of my face — no lie! I do have quite a small face though. Andy T took me for lunch here once and it was such a good find away from the tourists. Lunches are about £4 a head and I’ve seen the fried brekkies come out, they look like they are worth every calorie! They also have a few window seats so it’s totally cool to eat solo and just people watch.
