Je suis allée rejoindre mon ami pour sa pause déjeuner et c’est ici que nous avons atterri! Et c’était une très bonne surprise! Si les assortiments proposes sont assez classiques, le pain (ou les gâteaux pour la version sucrée) fait toute l’originalité des sandwichs! Les salades sont super également et les prix abordables. Pour les journées chaudes, craquez pour les smoothies, et s’il fait un peu plus frais, misez sur le goulasch! Personnel super sympa, musique agréable et déco moderne mais typique, c’est un sans faute! Mention spéciale aux livres à feuilleter en attendant son déjeuner! Cantine officielle de mon ami pour les prochains mois, je me ferai un plaisir d’y retourner!

Nice little place for breakfast or lunch. The chimney cake is basically a freshly made bread tube that you can peel off and eat with the rest of your plate (i.e. egg, salmon, sauce, etc.). Wonderful fresh orange juice and decent coffee.
A reasonable amount of indoor seating, and a very limited amount of outdoor seating, looking out onto the street. Good for pairs or small groups.

I have absolutely nothing to compare this to as this was my first taste of a chimney cake. But, the shop was very nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
I had a latte and ham and cheese chimney cake and both were very good. I received instruction on how it is traditionally eaten from the wooden dowel by hand with an option for a plate and silverware if I’d rather use utensils. My meal ended with a nice, thick handwipe better than any BBQ joint in Texas has offered.
I’ll definitely be back to try other savory and sweet chimney cakes.
