This is a popular auction house good for sellers as their are lots of buyers. There are a large number of lots of varying quality from furniture riddled with woodworm(sometimes still active) to fine antiques that sell for thousands of pounds. My gripes are that printed catalog is £3 which is a bit pricey, and the descriptions can be a bit vague and sometimes incorrect. I brought items described as ‘bleach mahogany’ that turned out to be walnut, and ‘elm’ that was oak. So you cant rely upon the descriptions that much. But this does sometimes allow you to pick up bargins. Parking is a nightmare though, best to travel their by public transport and pick up any lots by car the following day.
