Rather than traipsing up the hill to Boots I decided to give my local chemists a try — actually surprised quite how many there are!
This is one of the slightly better stocked ones, but is sadly let down by its staff. I was recommended Gaviscon as a cough remedy — oh dear.
OK if you are after general OTC items, but best avoided if you need medical advice.
