My partner has just written this «Have just been to this co-​op after not going for about a year just to get some basics. The man at the checkout very deliberately did not say‘ thank you‘, and then I remembered the reason I stopped going was because this happened last year with younger members of staff also! It‘s like some badge of honour, or code, not to be polite. Then I came on here to review because I‘m so annoyed and I saw the previous review written in 2012! So nothings changed then! If I have to go in there again and the same thing happens I will ask for refunds on my shopping!»

This shop is OK for your basics such as butter, milk and bread. They also sell everything else that you might have forgotten in your weekly shop, and they always seem to have a strange amount of reduced stock. The reason I give it two stars is because I have never seen (I don’t think!) ruder staff. You really have to see it to believe it! If they were friendly and actually looked like they didn’t mind taking your money, I would spend a lot more in here then what I do. I also don’t like the fact that to get to the shop you have to always walk past a few members of the staff outside smoking. I’m sure this is not the look the Co-​op are going for!
