I visited this place with my wife recently and we had a great lunch there. It reminded us of our honeymoon in San Fernando a few years ago, which was a great memory for both of us. The food there is authentic and resembles the one we ate in Trinidad and Tobago that for a moment we forgot where we were sitting. I especially loved their callaloo. You could tell by the taste that it was prepared with real coconut milk and not the cheap substitute they sell at the grocery store. Staff were all very kind and welcoming, our waiter was extremely helpful in explaining what ingredients each dish contains. The interior was also very neat and authentic, although it was a bit too pink for my taste, but my wife really liked it. Overall a great find if you have a taste for Caribbean food.

Authentic Trinidad & Tobago food — This little London gem takes you back to the Caribbean in an instance. They have all the traditional caribbean dishes at decent prices. The food is consistent and mouth watering. The premises are spotless and warming. This place is run be a retired couple that believe in good whole hearted food and I agree with them — the food is definitely a comforter, especially on those cold days. A mutton roti will set you back a fiver, which is fantastic for the quality and portion. They also do Sorel and a wide range of vegetarian dishes. This is one eatery not to be missed. Enjoy!

It’s great to see a Trini restaurant in Catford! This is a nice place in central Catford although it is tucked away under the arches of Eros House. There is a good selection of Trinidadian food all the favorites are there like ‘Doubles’(curried chickpeas with pepper sauce in two flat breads) and Aloo pie(spiced potato and vegetable in fried pastry) along with all types of meat. fish and vegetable curry and roti(a type of flat bread). The staff are friendly and the service is quick, you can either eat in or take away. I have noticed that they seem to do buffets at special occasions like on Mothers day etc. The food is nice a good introduction to Trinidadian food, it’s reasonably priced and its a nice place to either dine in or get take away from. I think they are closed on Mondays but are otherwise open most days.
