I am a young trans-girl from a mediterranean background, living in London for nearly 10 years. I was a little sceptical when I first came across Affordable Laser website. It looked too honest and too good to be true. The prices were very low and AFFORDABLE compared to those charged by Harley Street salons, and yet, according to the shopping around I carried out, I found out that some of these salons use more or less the same equipment(Soprano machine). After exchanging a few emails with Affordable Laser manager, Manroop, who was very helpful in answering questions and providing information, I bought a course of six sessions at the salon and started my treatment(full face) in November 2010. By the 6th session, I had a substantial and very satisfactory hair reduction. I then decided to follow up with electrolysis, which 2 months later, proved to be a huge mistake. Treatment was very painful and results were far too slow compared with laser. Plus, electrolysis required weekly visits, whereas laser only needed a single monthly visit. Not to mention the scarring on the skin caused by the probes! I am have now gone back to laser at the same Salon Affordable Laser and have had two more sessions. The results are just awesome! No beard or upper lip shadow, whatsoever! Overall, I would rate Affordable laser a 5 star. The different members of staff are excellent, and the results are amazing. In all honesty, I don’t think you could find many Salons like Affordable Laser in London! Sophia

I’m really impressed with Affordable Laser Hair Removal. I’ve been for two laser hair removal sessions with Kibar at the London Branch in Paddington. It has been easy to get appointments at convenient times, I pop in in my lunch hour for a session. The girls are really friendly and helpful, explaining the process and answering my questions. I’ve had IPL previously and the laser in use here is far less painful, it feels hot rather than painful. The prices are competitive and there are special offers in the weekly newsletter that you can sign up for via the website. They also provide facials, but I haven’t tried these yet.
