In dire need to shake up the Baker Street lunch routine, I headed over to Marylebone High Street today. Conran is a quirky shop with designer knick knacks, beautiful crafts, art supplies, games, and lots more. I didn’t buy anything in the shop, but it seems like a great place to buy a fun gift for someone. Mental note to return: check. Conran Kitchen is located inside the store, in the back. There’s a small seating area featuring the same funky design and high-end furniture as the store. The menu is small but efficient, with coffee and tea and 4 or 5 salads or sandwiches to choose from. I had a beetroot and goat cheese salad and an iced americano(10GBP all in). This place would be perfect for a mid-shopping snack or caffeine break but it’s just A-OK as a proper lunch option.
