If you are lucky enough living in Fulham, you still might have missed the local fish shop which is on Fulham road towards Putney Bridge.
It’s one of those shops locals should support, because it is authentic and of high standard. An Italian Family is running the business. When I order cod, tuna or calamari, I always ask for advice how to cook it the best, not loosing any juice or flavour.
My secret recipe:
Code fish in the oven for not more then 20min wrapped in aluminium foil…
Ingredients:
* White wine
* Spring onions
* Garlic
* Pepper
* Bouillon
* Lemon
* Herbs
* Butter
The Italian fish shop owner always asks me for how many people? — My answer is dinner for on — he smiles. Sometimes I try the fish cakes, they have some fresh vegetables and herbs, which you can use for your ingredients — never leave the shop without a lemon. Also the prawns over a salad as starter or the spaghetti à la vongele could be a treat for your guests!
