Thank you! I needed loo roll really bad and these guys saved the day — WINNER!
They have almost everything you’ll need for a little bit more than Tesco down the road in Hackney.

This Costcutter is the one featured in the Leon 2 cookbook so it’s famous!
It’s also about 30 seconds from my flat and is my go-​to shop for milk, beans, soft drinks, papers, a few extra veggies, chocolates and more. I usually forget something from the supermarket and manage to pick it up here.
Costcutters are independently run and this one is family run, I think. The staff are friendly and helpful.
They don’t have fresh meat though which always means a trip further afield is required for dinner ingredients.
