A good restaurant with nicely cooked food and decent service. They do manage to improve the pleasure and textures in their food, by including a very unhealthy amount of fat in their foods though. The soup had globules of fat at the top, the steak a large chunk of butter on top etc. It all made for a delicious treat but also reinforces how stuff like this can make eating out dangerous if done a lot. The dishes are straight forward and simple using decent ingredients. Not cheap but not stupidly expensive. Good value for what you get which I presume they can do with the economies of being a large chain with efficient systems and processes. The décor is good quality and we’ll designed. I have never heard anyone complain about this place, even people who are quite fussy.
