Crêpe de oh myyy! This place is sooo charming and warm. I’m in love with the décor and interior. It is all surrounded with stylish art combining modern and classic furnitures. They are all so fluffy and comfortable awww. There is also lovely outdoor seating area, which is good for the hot days. The staff is super friendly and they have free Wi-fi yaaay! Honestly, the oreo crepes are the best. I can never get enough of those.

Myself and my boyfriend went here for Pancake Tuesday, I’ve been before and enjoyed it but this time we were a little bit disappointed. My BF’s pancake arrived and it was completely stone cold, we sent it back but were told that it’s supposed to be cold because it’s served with berries and cream. I’ve never heard of a cold crêpe before and if this is the case it should be mentioned on the menu. Anyway, they brought us another one that was hot and it was lovely. I had a savoury one which was tasty but didn’t blow my mind. For 7 quid they aren’t generously sized. We had nice coffee and hot chocolate. The décor is cute but the toilet is in need of some TLC — the shabby chic look goes a little bit too far for my liking.

A very cool cosy spot with a homey feel to it. They’ve got a ton of crepes available in white or brown gluten free flour — both savoury and sweet! Perfect for vegans and carnivores alike.

This was a lovely café, and the bonus was that they do VEGAN crepes. Most of the sweet menu can be veganised. I chose the New York Crunch, I think it was called. It was a crêpe filled and topped with oreos, with nuts and caramel. We also got one with banana, caramel and cinnamon. Seriously amazing. The service was lovely too — the guy who took our order was very helpful and friendly, and the girl who made our pancakes came out to double check with us that the oreos were definitely vegan(they were, the ingredients confused her slightly). I liked that she came out to check with us rather than just going ahead anyway. Lovely interior, cosy, a little rustic, and definitely welcoming. Will be back.

The food was very good, but we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be served. The space downstairs was nice and cozy, but only served us on old wooden chests, no tables, made it difficult to eat comfortably. Latte was good, but came in a small tea cup and had long since been finished off by the time the actual meal arrived. It didn’t seem as if the place was extremely busy, but clearly they are not set up to deal with many customers. Would only recommend this place if you have time on your hands and not in a great rush.

Upon entering Creperie Du Monde I spotted a woman sucking down by curly straw what looked to be a strawberry milkshake in a jar. Immediately I knew I wanted one(after all, I’d just come from a long walk in Walthamstow Marshes!) Sadly, the strawberry milkshake was where the goodness at Creperie Du Monde began and ended for me. My omelette filled with chicken, carmelised onions and avocado sounded like a winner but tasted like it came in last. It was oddly sweet(sickly so) and where I expected avocado slices I got a gooey green substance instead(which may sound like guacamole but was decidedly not.) I had several bites and left the rest. Still, I feel like this place has promise: there’s outdoor seating, the crepes looked right, the wifi’s free(and it works!), the milkshakes were tasty and the seating downstairs is cosy and well-appointed.

I’ve had a reply to my above feedback from Creperie Du Monde — Wow thats sounds great! please tell me which restaurant were they give permits. I dont think I need to say anything else, I’ll let everyone judge this comment for themselves.

Following my unpleasant experience before(being served bacon twice despite asking for a Parisienne crêpe without bacon) Stephen invited me and a friend for a free meal as an apology — we had a couple of Mediterranean crepes which were very nice. Thanks.

The décor is to my liking: funky art, comfy sofa, old wooden chairs, some small tables inside, and many more out front. As Patrick W. wrote, there are both savory and sweet crepes made with either buckwheat or white flour. For 75p more, one can have a tiny portion of green salad on the side and your crêpe served on a plate not folded up. I chose a really tasty«Eggs Benedict» style crêpe(with side salad) that included smoked salmon and scrambled egg. It was flavorful and well made, if, however, a bit on the skimpy side.(Or was I just unusually hungry that day?) Oh, yeah, and they have a juicer! Beetroot juice is the bomb. :)

Have thought about going in since I first saw it open on Chatsworth Rd many moons ago as it looks so lovely from the outside. I finally decided to go, having been somewhat put off by reading the review on here. After studying the menu, I decided to opt for the classic, lemon & sugar wrap. The pancake cost £3, which I thought was reasonable, for some reason they give you the option of paying 50p more to have it served on a plate. My mint tea was served in a beautiful china cup. It did take a while for my crêpe to arrive even though it was very quiet & there weren’t many customers about. I enquired about Wifi and was given the password so I could play around on the net whilst I made myself comfortable on the sofa. Given it’s a créperie I can’t say I was blown away by the actual crêpes. I think I’d need to try some of the other options before I could say for sure. All in all I’d say it’s a lovely place to hang out & get some work done & for that reason I shall be going back. The food is nothing to write back home about

Wow how bad was that today — and it looks so nice and the prices aren’t cheap… But order was lost and we waited ages, the staff didnt seem that bothered or couldnt understand why two boys might want their lunch and everything was lukewarm at best. Won’t be rushing back.

Hilarious service. Two girls stand there like installations and a third looks at you like she’s a teenager and you’re her mother asking her to tidy her bedroom(when you’re actually asking for a pancake in a pancake shop). Pancakes are ok. Worth going just to see what they’re like. They are doing YOU a favour, you know? Be grateful!

On the menu, it says to ask for the vegan specials. I always ask, and they look at me like there was no such thing. Not to worry though — they’re usually very accommodating and allow me to build my own, which is kind of annoying because I kind of like to go out and order food on a menu, instead of basically telling them how to make it. The vegan option always takes a little longer since they make a new batter, but I think it’s worth it. I can’t make a decent crêpe with the right texture to save my life… It’s just nice to know that there’s a place I can take my omnivore friends for a nice meal, where I can also have something decent as well. The staff is really nice… except for that one guy, who was doing the coffee bar that seemed to be a total jackass to the cooks.

This is a lovely new addition to Chatsworth road. They offer crepes with a variety of creative and delicious fillings, along with coffee, tea and fresh juices. Vegan options are available! The food is a little pricey for what you get(hence only 3 stars), so I go here for an occasional treat/dessert, rather than to fill my stomach. The atmosphere is nice — I like the understated but chic décor, the wooden floor and the furniture, there is a variety of newspapers available, and the music is usually good. Service is mostly charming, although it can get very busy at times(especially during the day, when the place can also be overrun with strollers and babies, so beware!). There is outdoor seating available, which will be nice come spring…

You know an area is rapidly gentrifying when a creperie moves into town. Creperie du Monde opened in Chatsworth Road a few weeks ago, and has been a success since day one. The creperie offers both sweet and savory crepes, with fillings as simple as lemon and sugar, to «chistorra(a family of chorizo), red peppers, aubergine, courgette and rocket with melted camembert and mixed herbs». Unusually, they offer many vegan opinions. All the options I have tasted are excellent. The coffee is good and there are assorted freshly squeezed juices. The inside space is made up of attractive distressed timbers; and relatively small, which may be a problem as the weather gets colder and patrons move inside. The staff are extremely friendly. The quibble I have is the sticker price; this is not a cheap place to eat, but the quality is high.
