Just came back from a deep tissue massage with Alexandra, and it was wonderful. She mentioned having a background in physical therapy; it was clear she knows the human body very well. I’ve been having trouble with my shoulder lately and it was well on its way to turning into a frozen shoulder, but she worked on that and my sciatica nerve, and I’m now standing straight and able to move around. I’ll likely be sore tomorrow, but it’s clear she made a difference. I’m not sure if the massage is a new offering, as it’s not on their website and the service is a bit odd — the therapy room is very small, and Alexandra had to move my table once or twice during the massage to manœuvre around it.

I’ve been twice and work with Cormac(sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong!). The salon is lovely and in a good location in W. Hampstead(though you’ll have to walk a bit to get to it from the tube/overground/train). My hair dresser is very knowledgeable and has given a great colour and cut(tough to find with curly hair). You are offered a variety of drinks, including wine, which is lovely(though I’m usually there in the morning so just go with water). I will return(and the best thing about this is you get money off your next appointment when you book that same day). The only downside is having to use my debit card versus a credit card(which I use to get airline miles).
