Love the hip décor and friendly staff. The happy hour on the Martini menu is fantastic. Half price until 8 pm !!! So when I drank 3 cocktails, it’s only 14.5 ! Among, I like expresso-tini most. That can totally be one of those ! GETTINGYOUTIPSYBEFOREYOUKNOWIT ! I am also very happy with the ginger and pear one, extremely refreshing. Music was a bit too loud at around 7, I was shouting across the table ~~~~ Recommended booking in advance, it can get busy with its central location and the happy hour promotion !

If you’ve read my reviews on Dirty Martini before, you will know that I’m a huge fan of the delicious, chocolate, liquid dessert that is the Chocolate Martini. So when I heard about their new Easter special, I very excitedly came here to check out the new choc-tails(plus it had been a while since my last visit). The verdict… chocolate heaven! Unfortunately they are not included in the happy hour deal. The Maltease cocktail came in a beautiful, little glass and was strange(because of the coconut water, chocolate, Ovaltine, mascarpone combo) but it worked. As a chain bar, Monument is my second favourite bar as it’s a good location and the place looks cool. Only annoying thing about it — no phone signal as it’s an underground bar. You can just about get signal by the stairs, but then you get told off by the bouncers for standing there. But they do let you have their wifi password so at least you can get internet access. Choc-tails are an Easter special, so try them before they go(available until 28th March).

Delightful summer menu, amazing bespoke cocktails with a twist, and a great staff. It is luxurious, fun, and trendy all shaken(not stirred) into a Martini Glass. I have been hearing about the Dirty Martini chain for ages from several people whose opinion I trust. But I couldn’t wait to see it for myself, particularly as the Monument location was having a launch for their new summer menu and a tasting of their sinful cocktails. Manager Fabio gave us a mini cocktail class and was wonderfully welcoming to the relatively recently opened establishment. Dirty Martini is completely underground with two large bars and 3 areas for seating groups of any size. One resembles a quasi-retro disco with large red light up tunnel walls the other is lit with neon green light on top while the seating area has red leather booth seating and rectangular lamps very reminiscent of the Ritz with a clubbing twist. The walls are plastered with photograph graffiti wall art and red curtains divide the areas. The menu featured with mini gourmet burgers, pork and caramelized red onion hot dogs, Cajun spiced wedges, chicken satay skewers, and crispy vegetable dumplings. There were also sharers consisting of hummous, olives, chorizo, parma ham and various dipping sauces. The cocktails were fresh and perfect with lovely garnishes and deep flavors. We had the Peach and White Tea cocktail along with the Orange and the Blood Orange and Vanilla. Apparently there is a happy hour until 10pm on Martinis and a DJ at several nights. This place would be perfect for small and medium sized parties with special deals advertised. I am a Martini fan in general but suddenly I am preferring the Dirty Martini.
