Tucked away just behind Selfridges, is this little shirt shop, Diverso. Diverso shirts are very interesting to look at. The retail sales manager of Diverso, Lucas Brownless, has never even heard of Emma Willis, Budd’s, New & Lingwood, Hilditch & Key, Turnbull & Asser, Dege & Skinner, Huntsman, Hardy Amies, Richard Anderson, Richard James, Kilgour, Ede & Ravenscroft, and all other upscale shirtmakers and tailors. As far as I’m concered, Diverso, are not true shirtmakers, they just design their shirts in the UK and get them crafted in Italy nothing else. Anyone could do that, it’s like they’re like Emma Willis or Turnbull & Asser. I’ve been in this shop twice now, but I cannot see myself buying their shirts. But personally, I’d rather buy from Emma Willis in 66 Jermyn Street.

Diverso is number 1 for mens tailoring. Literally the best designs and quality on the whole of Oxford Street. I was really excited by the fact every time I visit the store they always have new product in which means I never leave empty handed and found out this was because they bring in brand new designs every 6 weeks which means it is very unlikely to see anyone else wearing what I’ve bought which is always a plus, unlike everyone else walking around in the same thing. Amazing!!!

Diverso is a little bit like a lesser known Paul Smith, only with better designs. I love the fact that I’ve found a clothes shop for men that shows some promise of originality, especially in their dress shirts, which are often made up of two contrasting fabrics or using daring patterns and florals and have turn up cuffs that highlight the differentiating patterns. The scarfs and ties follow a similar design flair. You have to see them to understand what I mean! Prices are £60 and above but these really are special.
