I love this place. So much beer. They have a huge selection of Belgian and British beers. They have various British craft beers and some of the more traditional British Ales too. If I want something special I pop in and grab something Belgian or maybe the latest Brewdog.

Great place to enjoy the sun with some friends and some worldly beers If they don’t have a beer you like from abroad, ask them and they’ll look to get it in

A splendid little shop to duck into if you’re after a comprehensive range of British ales. As an American beer fanatic looking for exactly this sort of thing, I was impressed and delighted by what I discovered here. If you’re looking for a wider selection than what’s available in the Isles, however, you may not be as impressed. I was only looking for beers from the UK I couldn’t buy at home, so if you’re in the same boat, this not-very-convenient shop is worth a detour. If you’re British yourself, why are you looking to an American for advice about beer? Go read something else!

A nice little beer shop pretty far off the beaten path(for a Central Londoner, anyway). The selection is very strong and the prices are competitive. The shop itself is nicely laid out, very organized and clean. The range of beers is exceptional and I would say, in terms of selection, that this is the third best off-licence in Greater London(after #1 Kris Wines and #2 Utobeer). It’s a deli, too, so there is a nice range of easy eats. I bought beers to take away so didn’t get to enjoy the simple, quaint patio outside. If I’m back in the area I will make a point of stopping by.

I locked my bike wheels into a slaloming skid after seeing this off-licence’s claim that it sold a decent range of international beers. Alas, my dreams of happening across Mikkeler’s entire range of beers right on my doorstep were to be disappointed. Just one small part of the store is devoted to international beers, and they’re relatively common if noble efforts from Belgium, the US and Germany. The rest of the store is filled with British real ales, again, a welcome sight, but not the international stuff I was after. Worth checking out if you fancy some decent ales or Belgian beer either to go or on the spot(they have some tables outside). If you’re after more exotic offerings from abroad however, I’d recommend trekking to The Cask Pub and Kitchen in Pimlico.
