I really like Drumshack. Mostly secondhand stock, it is a great place to come for those hard to find hardware items or that rare snare drum you have been looking for.
There are new items for sale here at Drumshack, but it is a narrow range. Aside from the odd spare drumhead, I have only ever bought secondhand snare drums, cymbals and hardware at Drumshack. I have barely ever been seduced by any of kits that they stock for some reason… and I have been know to be easily seduced in that one area. I don’t really know why, but perhaps their stock turnover is a little slow on kits versus snares and cymbals.
Service is generally fairly good here, but try asking for discount when you are spending a respectable amount of money with them and you will hear a thousand different ways of saying «no».
Prices are not the cheapest here for secondhand goods, but I have been just happy to find rare old drums like a MK1 Tama Omnitune Snare in Birdseye Maple. But that’s just me.
