Visited the Duke of Kent on our way to a rugby game. It’s really of the beaten track so I don’t think many tourists will come here. The atmosphere is very nice and the personnel is super friendly. We just drank a few beers so I cannot comment on the food.

Been here 3 times in the 3 weeks we were in Ealing on holiday. One of the best pubs we have been to with a good selection of beers and very tasty food. My wife really appreciated the COLD Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, while I had the Oliver’s Island Golden Ale. We were here on a weekend day when they had a BBQ in the beer garden(they actually have a vegetable/herb garden). It is very popular with families during the day, and on warm days they open the Pimm’s Shed! They even went into the garden to get fresh mint for my Pimm’s. The beautiful indoor space is just as appealing as the spacious and comfortable outdoor seating. In the back part of the large outdoor area there’s a playground and picnic tables.

Have to agree while the place is airy it has a strange layout that makes it uninviting and kind of segregated, needs better arrangement more seating, more harmony. Great beer selection anyone with white beer on tap has my vote. Have not eaten here yet but its on my bucket list.

A pleasant pub experience. Had the ribs. Very tender and delicious. Will return again. Good selection of beers on tap. Just notice that if you are vegetarian, you maynot like their vege platter. Happy to recommend.

This is a great, homey, massive pub in Ealing that is like a big house, and a home away from home as a local pub for so many. They have a fantastic selection of beers and ciders and also whiskies. They range from Scottish Innis and Gunn on tap to a Belgian fruiteuse on tap as well, to a large selection of Fullers and some nice wines and drams of Glenmorangie to top it all off. In the back, there is a huge yard for a homely beer garden and even a children’s play area(for the warmer months). I’d highly recommend this pub if you’re in the area.

Just reopened after refit. Not enough seats and music too loud. If you want a decent pub go to the Village Idiot along Pitshanger Lane

I prefer the Drayton Court to this place. The first time we came here we were let down. There was no atmosphere and the food choice was pretty poor and the meal smaller than I’d have hoped for the price. We didn’t give it another chance for ages and then came back and it was busier(I still don’t like pubs that people drive to though) and seemed better than we recalled. We’ve been back a couple of times since and the staff attitude seemed to have improved. Did a pub quiz and had a meal there with my parents and we had a good time. Beer choice is pretty limited which I guess is to be expected from a suburban Fullers pub — but it doesn’t mean I have to like it. Also noticed on one of the later visits that the outside area/beer garden is quite huge! The pub itself has loads of little nooks you can hide away in. Nice décor but I still think it’s a bit too much«old money», Jaguar driving set for me.

Food is great and reasonably priced although the wine is a bit on the pricey side. Very comfortable interior and just the sort of place for a get-together with male or female friends.

Although this place can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights its big enough to accomodate everyone. I’ve never had to stand. It doesn’t really have that much personality though which isn’t necessarily a bad thing though if you just fancy a quiet pint in this perfectly reasonable boozer. The food on the main menu is reasonable but the specials are very good. They change on a very regular basis. There was some fantastic ‘locally-sourced’ lamb chops on the specials menu last time round and an incredible lamb shank with gnocchi the time before. Sunday roast wasn’t particularly impressive last time round but i’d be willing to give it another chance based on the quality of the specials menu. The pub’s beer garden is huge and gets very busy during the warmer summer months although those who don’t like children in pubs should probably steer clear during the day — the place is crawling with them…
