Dyno Rod

No one wants to need Dyno Rod.
But when you need ‘em, you NEED ‘em — and fast.
I had a sink clog that was impacting my dishwasher, kitchen sink and sanity. Ugh.
I had a handyman come, unsuccessful. £60
I had a plumber come, successful for 1 week. £80
I had Dyno Rod come, SUCCESS. £145.
So, lesson learned — probably best to just start with Dyno Rod. It’s expensive but they come and blast rod the shit out of your pipes and clear whatever monstrosity is blocking up your water juju.
So why 4 stars?
Well I actually DID call them to come out between «handyman» and «plumber» and managed to get the only guy that didn’t know how to park in London. I arranged for everything — someone was home, ready in the 4 hour window, all set. Then he comes to the door and decides he can’t park without a permit and so leaves and says he can’t come back til the weekend (this was Monday). WTF?
So this was a bit stressful as I’d made all these arrangements and still had a clogged sink so I just needed to get someone in there, so I hastily called another plumber. Well we know how that goes.
When the sink started acting up again I plopped the responsibility squarely with my dear husband and he scheduled them and ensured they could park. The guys were like «of course we know how to park, we work in Central London all the time.» And this was true, they rocked up, parked their van very close, came in and did the job… no incident. They remarked that the other guy must not have been from Dyno Rod, but he DEF was. So who knows.
Anyhow — booking online is very easy. It’s a major operation.
The 2 guys that came were friendly, professional and fast. Within 20 minutes we were back in business. They made polite conversation, were nice to the dog and all in all the experience was great.
Easily payable by card as well.
Hope I don’t need them again but was pleased with the experience, apart from attempt 1 where they guy was a knob and couldn’t park his van. Other than that, excellent!
