Just yes! I’m writing this review while I’m biting into the most delicious wrap ever and I just had to share this! I literally stumbled upon this place a few minutes ago, it’s a tiny non hipster coffee shop in Farringdon and upon going inside saw the most beautiful display of wraps, cakes and pastries. I’m a massive fan of anything including salmon and avocado, so the decision to hold off on eating, took a back seat! I was tempted by the offer of mixing and matching my wraps and almost went for the beautiful looking halloumi wrap, but the salmon was calling me. So that’s one for next time! Now to the wraps. Oh my word! They were crammed full of salmon, avocado, rocket and a generous portion of cream cheese! So damn good! Coffee wise it’s damn good! I got a bonsoy flat white and not only does it taste great, a lot of effort was put into some nice coffee art on top!(I know this isn’t easy with soya milk and some people neglect this — so extra stars for this! Will definitely be back, next time I’m around and spreading the word…

Stopped here today for a quick coffee break. The place is tiny and not that fancy. There are a few seats outside and they have the loveliest staff. This is one of those coffee shops you go to because of the quality of the coffee. Another reason to pay a visit is because they have cakes, cakes, cakes. What impressed me was like Colleen said, the amount of charging stations they have for a place so small. Which is always a plus, considering my phone battery is constantly dead.

It’s nice. It’s small. It gets the job done. There’s not a lot to say about EC1, or really, anything about EC1. It’s a tiny room inside with a few seats and a few more seats outside. This really is a spot to go, although we did grab a table on one of the nice days and had a lovely chai latte. It’s friendly for sure. You order inside and they bring it to you if you’re sitting. They also have a nice selection of cakes and pastries for the eating if you’re hungry(and if you’re not, this probably will make you hungry). I like spots like this: places that know what they do and do it well. I will be back.

A perfectly nice little coffee and tea stop in Clerkenwell, not too far from Farringdon Station. It’s certainly not ‘fancy hipster’ like nearby Workshop Coffee, but if you just need a good fix of caffeine, this’ll do just fine. Friendly service, a few outside tables(though Clerkenwell Road is busy/loud). The cakes and pastries look delicious as well, if you need something to tie you over until the next real meal. Bonus: many charging stations. Juice for you, juice for your electronics. Good idea!

This place opened about 6 months ago and I’ve been dropping in pretty regularly for takeaway coffee on my commute since then. The coffee is high quality(brought in from allpress espresso in Shoreditch). The owner/barista is a really friendly guy, who knows how to prepare a great cup and makes an effort to acknowledge and get to know his regulars. This really makes this place stand out in an area that has a lot of great coffee shops, but very few that offer personable service. A Long Black costs £1.95 which is quite a bit cheaper than some of the comparable takeaway options nearby(Modern pantry, Workshop). They are not open on weekends and the shop is a bit too small to sit in, but if you are a commuter in the area, currently getting your takeaway fix elsewhere, I would recommend trying it out.
