One of my favourite bars, always good fun, music is great and sometimes they have a live drummer. Drinks are well made and tasty.

Try their signature cocktails and you would fall in love with them and ultimately a frequent visitor. Some of their shot are spectacular. I once had a shot mix of something(I don’t remember) with Raspberry. It was one hell of shot. Definitely recommend to try that as well as their watermelon based cocktail(again can’t remember).

I have visited Eclipse only a couple of times, both of them were on a Friday night. The first one was a rather spontaneous one but we liked it so much that we were forced to repeat the schedule after two weeks. The bar was quite packed and a bit hard to get a drink in your hand. However, when you do get a hold of one, you’re up for a really nice night, surrounded by partying people. It’s quite the usual mixed London crowd so no surprises there — I’m used to seeing all kinds of people around these parts. Service was not the swiftest and there was a rather long wait for the restrooms but that all can be overlooked due to the awesome ambiance.

Yeah, I like Eclipse. On any day. Quiet or packed. On a weekday, it’s a nice spot to chill out, have a nice conversation with friends, sip on a Watermelon Martini, eat some Pizza, or nibble on sushi. On a Friday night, it’s a different story… eurodance, pumping beats, with live DJ and bongo player, pretty people, collagen enhanced models, mixing with the south ken/chelsea posh crew. Still, not too obnoxious, and the drinks are good. Real good. My main problem with this place? It closes at 1am. That’s when things should really get started. However, it’s in a residential area, and I guess rules are rules. The service is good; even at the door. We were queuing last night to get in, and some folks cut through. We didn’t make a big deal out of it, but my friend had a quiet word with the door man, who sorted us out with a table :) Wicked. 1 bottle of vodka later, we were partying with the rest of them.

Been back a few more times… cocktails still great, service hasn’t been(since our first visit), so may give the other location another go! Also, it really seems to be busy certain days, and absolutely dead others(and still not great service)…so i guess a hit or miss!

Popular bar to head to in this area but like the other a little on the pricey side. It’s usually packed and has a good scene though.

Probably best all around bar around Brompton Cross(nexus of Sloane Avenue, Fulham and Brompton Road). Why? above all else, friendly and outstanding bartenders– excellent drink list and fresh ingredients with many fruit-based– like signature watermelon martini. Eclipse punch is one of my favourties along with their dark and stormy. Many creative shots and drinks. Decent but limited bar bites restricted to sushi(from next door and excellent Itsu) and humous genre. U-shape layout includes main bar then overflow seating area around back– so don’t be fooled this is a decent sized bar. Spaces for one on one intimate chats and larger groups. Knowledgeable waitstaff. music is i-Tunes– based and tends to be eurolounge /dance in nature. good vibe with a bongo player on the bar on weekend nights. all around great bar. not cheap but in this case worth it.

The drinks are tasty though the service is s-l-o-w(but not all that unusual for London). It has a nice lounge-y feel and it’s a nice place for a post or pre dinner drink. But I’ve heard that people queue to get here on the weekends… and I most definitely would NOT dream of queuing for this place.

Been a fan of Eclipse Chelsea since my first visit in 2000. Few bars/clubs maintain their good vibes for such a long period of time, but Eclipse Chelsea has still«got it». The space is intimate and the décor has a fresh and vibrant feel. However, it’s the cocktails and personal service/attention from the team at Eclipse that makes this place so special. From the time you walk in the door, you’ll notice you’re practically body to body in the corridor bar. while not for everyone, the closeness with everyone is have the fun. You go here to meet and drink with people and to people watch in a uniquely close and personal environment. Cocktails are made and served here — one drink at a time — unless you’re looking to order 12 or 20… …in which case, they will accommodate as requested. The people behind the bar know their spirits and they are constantly looking to provide great drinks and a friendly vibe. The music is good, especially Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday night. Be sure to get your groove on with the sounds of the DJ and live bongos played at the bar. A late night stop at Maroush on Beauchamp Place after a round of drinks is also a must for people in the neighborhood.

Eclipse is a sophisticated little bar in the posh area of Walton Street. I went there with a friend for a quiet drink early on during the week and it was lovely and relaxing and not as pretentious as I had imagined. The bar is furnished in a loungy type way with an Eastern vibe — brown leather sofas, patterned cushions and dim lighting. This is where you go if you just turn up and therefore as the evening goes on and it gets busier there is hardly any space to move. If you have a bit extra to spend on a planned night you can also reserve group tables in the private seating area which is a little more luxurious and spacious. The food is good — I always love sushi and it isn’t too expensive. The service is also fantastic and the cocktail menu is one of the best I have seen. I would recommend Eclipse as a place to go and meet friends mid-week when you fancy something a little more chic than a pub. I always have a fun time here.

This Eclipse is the second I have visited so far; it is based in Chelsea and next to the legendary Itsu. I happened to go to Eclipse when a friend made reservation in the little lounge in the back, it is great if you are a big group and want to get the party started by a couple of drinks before going clubbing. This little lounge has almost a Moroccan feel to it. The cocktails need to be tasted, as their bar tenders all have trained in Ibiza for a while before performing their act in the bar called Eclipse. I had a Wodka Martini, which I probably should not have had one night and spilled my entire drink onto the ladies lap next to me. Typical — all loved up and not realising what is going on around me. Funny enough, this lady and her boyfriend asked us to come home with them, which we kindly neglected. Bongo players is one of Eclipse specialty, the drummer sits on the bar himself while guests are squeezing past him. Not that you really can talk a lot, as the music is so loud, it is more of a chilled ‘wanna go out’.

Eclipse SW3 is a small trendy and can i say quite a cute little bar, it is based in a great street full of other nice bars and restaurant and close to South Kensington. The background music is very good, percussion jam, and the drinks are cheap and well prepared. The food style is sushi and is brought by Itzu, the Japanese restaurant sideways. Nice staff all round a nice place, I seem to be using nice a lot these days because it is simply and plain just NICE! :)
