This review was for their evening sitting so maybe more fool me for not coming for breakfast/brunch. The service was nice but the food was terrible. A «brisket» roll was a grey slab of tough beef. The carbonara was thick and gloopy. The red wine suggested at £25 was terrible. Sadly I think you should stick to the breakfast which does get excellent reviews! Swerve the dinner.

This is a new venture from Soho House. But unlike anything else associated with Soho House, this restaurant in the classy place of Notting Hill West London is very understated. Previously an Asian eaterie, it even has the exterior name of Thai Break crossed out to now Egg Break. What I liked was the fantastic service inside. And they of course did egg dishes very well. I liked the buns with egg and chicken and pork belly best though there were other surprising delights along the way. Even the cocktails were very good. Quite out of the way for me but if I’m in area I will be back for sure.

My love for eggs is not new. I’ve always loved eggs, all kind of them. So if you fancy some really good eggs yourself, I suggest that you hurry up to egg break because this place is totally cracking ! YUMMY You have the basics, with avocado, florentine, benedicte, royale, english. Or you can go extra with super softy bun. My heart really hesitated between the fried chicken egg buns and the pork belly fried egg siracha bun. Get yourself some house press to go with your egg. The green house press is my favorite because green goes well with yellow(kale, apple, cucumber, celery and tons of other green stuff). MONEYMONEYMONEY You won’t break your wallet here. Your eggs/buns will cost you less than £10 Your house press £4 for small or £7 for a large WHAT I LIKE — They serve salads, soup, other plates and other if you’re not feeling like havings eggs. But keep in mind that the place is called EGGBREAK ! — Really cute presentation. — Coffee and dessert are pretty good HOWTOGOWITH? Your girlfriends for brunch
