Small place but don’t be fooled. You will get a proper kebab, cooked properly with seriously authentic meze. As a Turk I should know and I have tried quite a few places in London and this place is right up there. If you leave in NW postcode you have to go. Even if you don’t like me, just go anyway.

Fantastic. Love Turkish food and been to many places in Turkey, often. That said, this is not really «authentic «Turkish food as «authentic «often is of poor ingredients or hygiene. Ekin is none of this. freshest meats and veg, expert prep, and unbelievable taste. this is Chinese food in San Francisco Cina town vs China. all the recipes, dishes and names, but with modern food safety and suppliers. the result? best Turkish food ever. certainly a repeat.

Excellent place! Food is fresh and delicious + very reasonably priced. We discovered it recently and have been back many times already. We have tried most of the starters, all very tasty. From mains we had chicken shish, minced kebab and prawns. This is a cozy family run restaurant.

It is a very nice mom and pop restaurant with a real Turkish grill.
I had grilled chicken and it came with nice salads and rice. The chicken itself was very juicy and tender. It was really nice although I found meat slightly on spicy side.
They have a lunch menu for £10 for three dishes and found it quite good value.
It is really one of the best options in the area! I would not travel all the way to eat here but if you are in the area, and looking for somewhere casual, give it a try!!!

No se puede negar que este es uno de los mejores Kebabs que probado en mi vida. El pan era delicioso, las verduras frescas y pasadas por la plancha en su justa medida, la carne jugosa y en su punto. La única pega es que no esté en Madrid ;)

The place can be a real catch if they fixed the front sign a bit. I would have never went inside if it weren’t for my friend. Food and coffee were excellent so I approve it. The perfect hangout spot.

Excellent food, good value for money and very friendly service. I had Taramasalata to start followed by the chicken kebab. The Tarama was perfectly balanced with a mild flavor. The kebabs were soft accompanied
by a large salad, grilled tomato, rice, pitta bread, chili sauce and garlic sauce. I was also thankful to get a free desert!

Wow. This is MORE than just a simple kebab shop. Everything is prepared freshly, with an attention to detail you would expect in a high-​end restaurant. The lunch special is a fantastic deal, and we would recommend both the chicken shish and the lamb moussaka — deeeelicious!

Fantastic barbecue; I came here with a couple coworkers and loved it so much that I came here 4 times over the 7 days stay. That it was right by my hotel didn’t hurt, but they have a real barbecue pit in the kitchen and you can see the ingredients before it gets nice and roasted.
It’s not on the menu, but ask for the iskander kebab– kebabs on top of a rich creamy tomato sauce, with yogurt BAKED inside and soft, delicious bread at the bottom of this heavenly creation. It’s pretty much the best kebab I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot.

In an area full of kabob shops and gyro shops, somehow this shop stood out the most enough for me to try. It’s not like I didn’t try the other places. They were okay, but nothing to write home about. I just happened to walk by this place off the busy street and decided to give it a shot for lunch. What I got was a great surprise. The kabobs (yeah I tried this place more than once) were fresh, juicy, and seasoned just right. The grilled tomatoes, peppers, and onions with the rice kept the flavors balanced. It was awesome! And just like the other Unilocaler, I’m going to be a regular. Unfortunately, I am only here for a week.

I’m now writing as a bit of a regular and I can say that Ekin is a joy.
Whole grilled tomatoes and wedges of onion, tender and juicy lamb, soft pita… I highly recommend any of the yogurtlu dishes as a main. Portions are hearty so my guy and I usually split an appetizer and a main and both leave full. Often uncomfortably full. Ok, I can’t help but gorge myself here.
The service is excellent. The music is good and unobtrusive. This place has proven itself.
