One of the most utterly stunning meals I’ve ever eaten without the heart attack moment when looking at the bill! We were a party of 5 and as one of us had been here before, he suggested that we order from both tasting menus to get a taste of everything. It was an excellent idea as everything was delicious but note you’ll need at least 4 people as they’re only willing to do this if there are at least 2 people per tasting menu. So we got 3 of the first tasting menu and 2 of the other. It started well with the bread. It was lovely. Then course after course started flowing out. I could try to describe the food but it’s difficult. Just know that everything is good and quality. Whilst some dishes like the black squid ink risotto and pork belly are just elevated to another level. After the starters and something like 7 – 8 different dishes I was 60% full and only then realised there there were still 2 more shared courses to go. The mains flowed out and it just kept on being amazing. The pork belly as mentioned earlier was epic. And there were lots of carbs like fried aubegine, serrano ham croquettes, triple cooked potatoes. Wowzas. It was like«here, try this amazing meat thing!», then just to make sure you were full«now, try this amazing carb to fill you up!». If there was any course that disappointed it was the chicken skewers because they were nothing special, but everything else was spot on for tapas. Seriously if you’re going to eat here, do not hesitate to try both tasting menus if you can. Heck, order both if you’re only a party of 2, because you NEED to try it all. Oh dessert? That was only an amazing cold traditional spanish rice pudding and home-made olive oil chocolate brownie with choc mousse. I was so full at this point. I couldn’t actually believe I was eating tapas! Suffice to say, one of my favourite, if not favourite restaurants in London and i’ll be working my way back hopefully.

The worst place ever… I have been here twice(unfortunately) since I live so close to this place… The first time both my friend and I fell sick after eating here… And decided never to go back but I thought I’d give them the benefit of doubt and go back. The second time was even worse… Four of us went there for dinner and the drinks were horrible… So much so that we had returned them… And three of us fell sick again and the fourth person was spared because she ate only a salad… Will NEVER go back

FANTASTIC dinner here last Saturday night. The service was incredible, all the staff were incredibly polite, friendly and discrete, and well-trained. Dishes were whisked on and off the table at the exact right moment with barely a hitch. Our wine glasses seemed to magically top themselves up the moment they were emptied. The food was delicious. Beautifully presented and served at the right temperature. We were a party of 6, and sat at a round table with the perfect amount of space to eat yet still proximity to all talk to each other. The restaurant itself is elegant and comfortable, with a perfect mid level of noise. The bill came to around £450 for all of us, including lots of wine. I will definitely be back!

Had dinner for nine with adults and kids. Nice venue, not overwhelming. Attentive staff, good selection of food and wine. Food very good, service above average. We had reservations so there was no wait but it did fill up later in the evening. Fairly pricey but a good experience in a nice neighborhood.

Fantastic value for lunch, two courses with bread and aioli for £10, and the two courses were great tapas plates. The figs with goats cheese was delicious, we also had some crispy slightly spicy potato bravas. Pigeon with cabbage and chestnut purée was lovely too. They were so accommodating with our one year old, and service with a great smile. We will definitely be back again soon!

We tried the tasting menu. While the first two courses were good. The third course wasn’t as appealing, maybe I was too full by then. The service was good but not exceptional, considering it was Sunday evening and the restaurant was essentially empty.

Very good food, good décor and nice service. Would be good value but the portions were a bit small making it a bit more expensive. The ambience was good although the hard walls and floors make the sound bounce of the walls and the place a bit noisy. Very good, but did not have that rare and hard to find personable magic.

Friendly, helpful staff and a pleasant atmosphere but disappointing for food. Tiny non-shareable portions and unremarkable flavours. Perhaps presentation rather than substance is their thing. Quite pricey too considering the size of each tapas plate.

Fantastic food and service. I’ve dined here twice and I’ve been thoroughly impressed each time. The first time was with a group of 5 and the second time just on my own when travelling on business. The service is attentive and friendly; the server made some wonderful suggestions. The food doesn’t remind me of Andalusian tapas or pinxtos from San Sebastián, but is a wonderful example of contemporary Spanish food. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh cod pil-pil, six hours roasted pork belly, and the cream of chick peas, poached egg & grilled prawns. For my last trip to London, I planned my accommodations to be near this restaurant; it is that good.

I liked the food, it was decent and well thought through. It is a cosy and nice place and I could definitely be lured back for the good atmosphere and service. But as tapas goes, I have tried better and more extraordinary dishes, eg. at Barrafina.

Fantastic Friday night find for us. Lively atmosphere and the food was spot, we felt transformed back to Barcelona where we spend a long weekend last year. If you’re looking for a fun and tasty Tapas place give it a try — we will be back for more.

Utter ADORATION of this place. Don’t know if the tapas can be strictly called spanish, but this place WILL titillate your taste buds and also only set you back a fair amount for a lunch. Their specials are really worth it and I ADOREADORE their roasted figs. See more pics and specs at

A bit loud, and the service was a bit rushed, although not unfriendly. Food was quite good, although not mind-blowing. Squid ink risotto definitely worth a try.

So I think this may be the best value for tapas in London. Not all of their tapas are traditional(or even totally Spanish), but that can be a good thing. How many tortilla espanola can you really eat? My favorites after going several times: — Endive with cheese foam — Pork belly with pears — Roasted figs — Squid ink risotto It’s a great atmosphere and often fills up for dinner on Fridays & Saturdays. They have a great selection of Spanish wines — try the Priorat. Gluten-free notes: They offer a gluten-free menu, though you’ll want to check to make sure. Many Spanish foods are naturally gluten free. Stay away from anything breaded and fried. :-)

Fantastic tapas, loved the selection of cured meats and pan con tomate. We ordered some manchego(I think?) croquettes as well and the deep fried squid with paprika, which was delicious and perfectly crisp. In addition, a paella mixte was an excellent addition and was served beautifully by an attentive wait staff. This would be a perfect place for a date. The sangria was also amazing!

Had an amazing date night here! We had quite a few tapas, most of it was delicious, but there was one that didn’t hit the mark. Here’s the breakdown of what we ordered: * mixed leaf, manchego cheese, pine nut & beetroot salad — delicious, very simple and light * paprika crispy fried squid — sadly this was probably the least favorite, couldn’t really taste any paprika, just tasted bland * seared scallops, cauliflower purée & chorizo — the purée was amazing and the chorizo just made it even better. * black risotto with squid & prawns — my favorite! I’m not a risotto fan at all, but I’ve had black squid pasta in NYC and thought I’d give this a shot. Wow, it’s amazing, something about black ink in your food, can’t explain it, but it has this distinct taste. Some people may not like it and would get turned off by the color, but I love it! * piquillo peppers & idiazal cheese — this was tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary * grilled chorizo — this was delish, cooked just right and it was a generous helping! The food overall was wonderful and it was an amazing date spot. Service was good, with our server checking up on us and refilling our waters. I’d definitely come back here if I’m in London again.

Picked this spot for a casual meal with friends while visiting London. There is a good selection of options for tapas, with many of the standards ready for your tasting. Considering what seems to be a limited number of tapas places in London(considering the size of the town…) this is a good place to try. The prices are reasonable for the area and the wine selections are good. Following the adept advice of fellow Unilocalers, the pork-belly is pretty darn tasty, though not as life changing as wanted. Nevertheless, worth a taste! Bread didn’t seem to be a standard with any of the tapas items, but you can buy it separately. The service was solid and attentive, it was generally quiet, and surprisingly not that busy(then again it was a Monday evening). I will admit I was hoping for some more«pirata» action in the décor – an eye-patch maybe– instead it is trendy, sleek, black and white(maybe a nod to the jolly roger color scheme).

Fantastic. Two options for tasting menus for 20−25gbp. Very solid house wines for around 20. Life changing pork-belly. Lots of amazing seafood options. Great service, not overly formal nor noisy — great balance. 5-stars.

I am quite fortunate to have some of the best London’s restaurants around the corner from me and this Spanish place is among them. It has a great atmosphere, the tapas are delicious and the service was flawless. We started with olives, alioli and octopus carpaccio(highly recommended) followed by broken eggs with chorizo and prawns, pork’s cheeks and grilled asparagus & manchego cheese. We also had two glasses of Rioja to compliment the tapas. I especially recommend the carpaccio and the broken eggs and the pork’s cheeks. We were chatting and the tapas kept coming. I liked that they didn’t arrive at the same time, so we always had something in front of us, we tasted it, had a little chat and then another plate arrived. It felt a little bit like a tasting experience. The atmosphere was also really nice and the service from our Spanish waiters was really good. It is not the cheapest place(we paid £70 for five tapas, some starters and wine), but worth it if you are craving good Spanish food. I will probably be back soon to try their lunch special offered 7 days a week. It includes two tapas + bread & alioli + a glass of wine cetelleo for £9.95.

Friends have been raving about this place for a while, so I was happy to give it a try at long last. Whereas it really comes into its own at night it is surprisingly quiet at lunchtime. The food is excellent and very unique. Not your usual greasy tapas, but expertly prepared and beautifully presented individual dishes. You will recognise many of the dishes which are presented on the menu in English — but none of them are predictable. Very impressive wine list as well, I could happily live here.
