A cheaply decorated steakhouse (come on, inflatable cactus?) but with tasty steaks. Nothing special, but just good steaks. And burgers. I had a rumpsteak and chimichurry with fries and beans. The beans were
tasty, the fries o.k.
The service was friendly and prices good, for London.

I went there with a friend on Thursday evening after having purchased a £16 Groupon for a steak meal for two.
The place is about 10min walking distance from Hammersmith station and we managed to find it easy. On arrival i realised that i forgot to print my voucher… but the waitress seating us down took my voucher number instead to enter it to the system. Sorted!!!
The place is big and it seamed bit dead. The décor is minimalistic… and i bet that that the place did see better days.
We ordered some drink first, which arrived promptly, and the food.
We started with Empanadas… which were delicious. Main stake and chips meal was also spot on.
We ended up spending additional £20 each on top of the voucher… which is ok for a stake meal though be prepared to spend £35−40 if you don’t don’t have a groupon… and that doesn’t include drinks.
Reasons I only give it 3 stars:
— The steak comes only with only salad or chips… so if you want both you have to order one as a side order… and £3 for some lettuce, slice of cucumber and tomato is bit too much in my opinion
— the steak doesn’t come with any sauces… so you have to order them separately
— a thick smoke did spread out all over the restaurant while they were grilling the steaks and the smell was quite intense.
My conclusion: in overall THE FOOD and the service were GREAT. Though i don’t know if I would bother going there without the groupon voucher as there are plenty of places in London were I can get steak meal for bit less and in a place with a better vibe.

Terrible service!
Went there for a dinner after work on Friday with a groupon. Even as a customer with a groupon I would still expect decent service, however during our meal the waiters came by multiple times to ask for our code. Interrupting our meal several times. And when we asked for the manager he started to argue with us regarding why we were dissatisfied??? Really??? I don’t own a restaurant but have been to many and know poor service when I see it! Won’t never go again! No wonder it was pretty dead on a Friday night! Don’t go not worth the hassle if you want a nice evening out to unwind or anytime.

When the first KGB Deal came out in the beginning of June ’13, I was excited that a steak restaurant offered its 400gr rib eye in the deal instead of a paltry 8 ounce (220gr) minute steak. Don’t be fooled! As soon as this deal went live, they changed their menu price so that only the 300gr steak qualifies for the deal. Am I being petty for losing 100grams of steak? Perhaps… but that’s a quarter of my steak! That’s like paying for a pint of beer and the bartender fills it ¾ of the way up. Call me a pessimist!
KGB customer services followed up on my complaint and promptly refunded me.
So this isn’t a food review since I refuse to support them, but try them and let us know if the food is worth the value.

Came across this Restaurant after visiting Olympia with two colleague’s.
The food and service was excellent… Granted there was a slight language barrier with one of the waitresses but the other one on duty was excellent and both where more than capable.
The Food and complementary starter where really nice.
Would definitely visit again.

what can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said as Rafaela stated above the steak really is unbelievable, especially for the money but as Lisa stated the décor is shall we say a little strange.
I went there with a friend on a voucher with two meals each with sirloin steak for £20 normally the price would be £42.
Firstly again as Rafaela said the waiting service is a little hit and miss, for example our waitress seemed confused when my friend asked pepper sauce, really quite an common accompaniment with good steak.
The night we went on a Friday if I remember correctly the place was quite full and the service was quite speedy the décor as stated previously may not be to everyone’s tastes but they have made a good effort in terms of the money they spent.
One strange thing was the music I think on one occasion I went there they were playing a kind of Tango type stuff rather than Latino type beats which may not be to everyone’s taste. The meal arrived quite quickly no problems with the presentation, drinks were reasonable and on one of the two occasions I went I had a starter of nachos with the usual accompaniments which was actually superb.
All in all were it not for the service on one occasion this place would get five out of five if you’re a steak lover it’s well worth a visit.

Myself and my lovely fiancée went there as we have been told the steak is amazing the best south american steak is what the restaurant claims on their card. The steak is indeed a winner, but unfortunately that was it. Maybe we just went on the wrong day but the restaurant was completely empty. The décor inside is very old but not in a cool vintage kind of way, it’s really, really old and I’m sure the place would benefit from a nice restyle, it’s not really a place where I would go again on a night out.
Let’s talk about the food. For starters we had empanadas (traditional savoury pastries) and meatballs in a very rich and spicy sauce. Nothing to die for, but tasty enough to be well happy about our choice. The star of the show was without a doubt the steak juicy, tender, perfectly cooked. No need to put any sauce on it as the meat tastes delicious as it comes. It’s really a pity that the venue was empty maybe for this reason I notice even more the old furniture and décor insidemaybe if the venue was full it wouldn’t have looked so depressing. I like to judge a restaurant not just for the food (which of course must be the first thing to be perfect) but also for the atmosphere and the whole experience. Yeah, I’m justifying myself cause I’m feeling kind of guilty to give them just 3 stars but it’s a constructive criticism I hope, just renovate the place! ;)

Hi this is a great restaurant to have a fantastic steak! One of the waiter was not very helpful but thank God a waitress replaced him and everything ran smoothly. Seriously the meat is so juicy and tender it’s unbelievable. Give it a try you won’t regret it. The only reason I ve given 4 star instead of 5 it’s because the waiter really had an attitude and didn’t want to be there that night, but hey it’s not my problem lol!

The worst thing about this restaurant is that the waitress doesn’t understand English well. We ordered 2 medium rare sirloin steaks with chips and salad with the dressing by the side. Although only 5 tables were occupied, it took them close to 20 minutes to deliver the food. When arrived, the steak was overcooked, chips were greasy and salad — just a few limp lettuce and a tomato came without the thousand island dressing. We asked the waitress for mustard and dressing. First she came back with bread, second time, she brought just mustard, third time oil & vinegar. Same happened with wine. She didn’t understand our order and brought us the wrong one. My partner commented it was worse than Faulty Towers. People in the next table complained about the qulity of their food and left more than ½ on the plates. The service is awful and the food far too overpriced.
