Very friendly staff with excellent service. Easily worth the £10 cut(provided you check in on Unilocal). I recommend.

For a tenner, you can get a pretty decent haircut. These boys understand the art of the fade and they do a fantastic and fast job. The shop literally feels like the size of a closet — There are 4 chairs crammed on the far side for waiting customers, 2 barber chairs and 2 barbers posted behind them. Besides a TV and some photos of famous footballers on the wall, there isn’t much room for anything else. There is no phone — you do not make an appointment. You walk in, they sit you down, you give them direction, they cut and style, you pay then go on your way. Can’t get any better than that for a no-fuss barber!

Besides having the ability to explain the offside rule in football or having eyes in the back of your head, I think that one of the big differences between men and women lies in our different approaches to haircuts Men are lucky because we don’t have to: 1. book our haircuts weeks in advance 2. book a specific stylist and go into depression when they leave our salon 3. have kitchen cookery stuff like tin foil put into our hair at the salon 4. spend hours at the hairdressers having tints/highlights/etc put in 5. treat getting a haircut like a major event 6. get charged a criminal amount of money and then justify it by saying that we got a cup of tea Evan barber is a small barber’s shop located right next t to Wimbledon theatre. The familiar barber’s pole outside is fortunately no longer used to signify bloodletting, which was done by barbers who also performed surgery on customers as well as tooth extractions back in the Middle Ages! My barber was very friendly and took great care not to get hair down my back — he used a bit of tape around my neck below the sheet, which was a novel thing for me. £6 for a machine clipper cut — number 6 on the top and number 4 at the sides. In and out in 10 minutes. I left feeling that sometimes, it’s good to be a man!
