i love this place and so do my kids, it’s our go to of choice. it has some of the best pizza in London, huge enough to take half home or share. and has a good selection of other pasta and more classic Italian dishes. the staff are friendly and efficient but it can get noisy on a Saturday night as they have lots of birthday celebrations there.

Last night was my first time at this restaurant and I have to say I am very impressed. Staff were very polite and friendly. Everything was on point. A lot of people were celebrating their birthday yesterday. The happy birthday song was going off every 20 minutes. Lively place. The food was very delicious. We had a calzone pizza(which I recommend) and hawaiana pizza. Very nice atmosphere and easy to find. On the high road, 2 – 3 minutes walk from Southgate station. We will be visiting again soon. Thumbs up!

The pizzas here are excellent. Other food is pretty good too. There’s a reason it’s packed and pizza express next-door is nearly empty. The service can be distracted, and the tables a little too close together for comfort, otherwise it’d be five stars.

This restaurant is lively with an energetic atmosphere. As a popular haunt in Southgate, it is often one of the busiest restaurants on the high street. I visited midweek with a friend for an early dinner., Just as well as soon after, it was packed! We didn’t have to wait for a table but due to the busy crowd we did have to wait for the waiter to order drinks and mains. However, we were never forgotten and had a wonderful evening thanks to friendly staff, quick service and delicious food.

This is my favourite local restaurant. The staff are friendly and are eager to help as best they can. Ive been there a fair few times with my girlfriend and we both love the food, ribs are some of the best I’ve had. My missus usually goes for the seafood pizza or the steak, while I go for the pizza most of the time and neither of us can fault it. Ive never had any problems with hygiene in there and foods always been on time(even when its ridiculously busy). Pricing is also fair, 3 course’s will set you back just under £50 for 2 people! Some of the issues I have are really not there fault. I find the sound level in there gets a bit much and the birthday music a tad annoying. Also does get VERY busy at peak times. Overall I do love Fantozzis and the food, and will definly be going back!

This is a great place to eat if you’re after good food without the dressiness of some of the restaurants in the area. You don’t feel out of place in jeans and a t-shirt. It’s quite loud, you often see birthday groups where the waters/waitress’s bring out a cake and sing(shout) happy birthday. It’s quite an extensive menu with a good selection of specials. I’ve had a good experience every time I’ve visited here previously and have no doubt that I will continue to do so.

Ate there 3 times. Found hair in my food twice, and third time my food was not cooked properly, to top that up the waiters are are a waste of time. I would never go back there to eat again

This restaurant is vibrant, fun and comfortable. When I say comfortable, I mean there is no intimidation. You walk into this loud and chatty room full of people laughing, drinking and eating wholesomely. It’s a wide space but nonetheless, rather crowded and always full on weekends. The food, I have to say is a good menu. The taste is also good. I couldn’t say brilliant but for the very decent price, it’s not bad at all. The pizzas are yummy and have a good variety as well as the pasta dishes. The main courses include veal escalopes which in my opinion is rather tasty. Moving onto the service. Very Italian. Quick, chatty and all have Italian accents. They’re very rush rush but is understandable due to the busy service. All in all, a great restaurant to bring friends for a fun chat on both weekdays or weekends. Expect loudness.

Went to Fantozzi on a week day around 5pm. The waiters were attentive and helpful, the food was ok but very average. My starter MELANZANE alla PARMIGIANA lacked flavour, it was hot but bland, My main of calamari was just warm and the salad had dried up peppers in it that looked like they’d been hanging around too long, for desert the lemon ice cream was very good.

Fantozzi is a popular restaurant Italian restaurant, where on every single visit, of mine has been for someone’s birthday, in fact, there are at least three birthdays held there every time I have been there. It has a great upbeat atmosphere, with great staff, staff that are so sure of themselves that on every visit, a waiter has tried to seduce someone on my table. It is a typical Italian restaurant, with plenty of space and a decent menu. I love my seafood and for a starter I have always had the seafood salad, not because I am trying to keep to a régime, but simply because it is delicious. On my most recent visit earlier this year, I had the speciality, which is Mamma’s Meatballs and pasta, and I highly recommend it. The tiramisu is great too. I actually just got an invite for a friends birthday there for next weekend, and that is hat reminded me to tell you about Fantozzi. I might try a different mains, but know I will be having that seafood salad and tiramisu. Just to add, if you o plan on going to Fantozzi, an it is over the weekend, you better book, otherwise you will definitely have a real long wait. It is a very popular restaurant, and deservedly so.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and have enjoyed every meal I have ever eaten there. They make all of their pasta and pizza from scratch and you can really tell the difference because the food is almost amazing. They do a large selection of pizza and pasta dishes, as well as some meat and fish dishes. All are very reasonably priced(cheaper than most Italian restaurants). If you go you MUST get the garlic pizza bread to start(a pizza base with a tomato and olive oil sauce on top– simple but delicious). One thing to note is that the restaurant now automatically adds a 10% service charge onto your bill.
