The food is nice, but way too expensive for what it is. Almost a tenner for an omlette with a tiny salad is a lot, no matter how nice the omlette. The 2 slices of toast(not home made bread, just regular toast) were charged at an extra 2.30 pounds — incredibel! I will not be back. For that price, there are cafés with much better service(you wait a while), much nicer ambiance(the room feels more like a canteen than a cosy café) and larger portions.

Sunday brunch was great. Portion sizes were perfect. I had a strawberry and peach smoothie and buttermilk pancakes. Smoothie was great! Pancakes were nearly inedible. Dense and glutinous and a little burned. My advice to the chef(from an American pancake lover): whip your egg whites to make a fluffier pancake and then only stir all ingredients until just combined, that will keep pancakes from being so heavy. I beg you to take my advice! My husband got the full English and enjoyed it. Others at the table had omelets that they raved over. Scrambled eggs and toast were also yummy and buttery. We will return but not for the pancakes!

Loved going to Feast when I was staying is Muswell Hill. My friend and I went the first morning, and continued to go back 5 more times in our 9 day stay! The food is some of the best and the atmosphere is quiet lovely. Prices are reasonable and service is good. I ordered something different every time and was never disappointed. Absolutely fell in love with Feast.

I love eating at Feast. The staff are friendly and the kitchen produces excellent food. Excellent! It’s not the cheapest but it is very very good. Stop for just a coffee and a croissant or linger for a lovely salad-y lunch, they have a good wine list(the Viognier is my favourite) and their main courses have quality ingredients, are innovative and are a good portion size too. Roger, the owner, is a character and is always happy to shoot the breeze. A great little local that goes from strength to strength

Feast is a very nice café & deli which in my opinion is let down badly by portion sizes. They offer breakfasts, a decent home made burger, sandwiches, eggs benedict etc. All nice quality but hardly any of it! I totally understand that the rent & rates on two nice full sized shops in trendy Muswell Hill can’t be cheap, but when I am paying a tenner for a breakfast I expect it to fill me up! Its the kind of place your gran would love you to take her to for a cup of tea ;-) The deli counter next door is well worth a look, lots of interesting stuff in there.

Have eaten in Feast on many occassions and have always been very happy with the food. My only critisism is the size of the portions of french fries. They are tiny, but when I complained they bought me more. And they are one of the few places that offer a SOYA latte!!!

It is my week for eggs Benedict and I have to say that Feast is right up there with some of the high falutin Mayfair spots. Served with a pot of earl grey tea it’s hard to beat and while it’s not exactly cheap it is a huge portion and so ultimately good value. I’ve also eaten the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon here which also looked expensive but i’ve never been given such a huge plate full and I nearly ‘nearly!’ had to leave some. My only criticism is that everything is served with dots of some ‘magical’ house olive oil and chive dressing which it doesn’t need. Nice plain room, buzzy atmosphere and good service, I am keen to work my way through the rest of the menu, when I have got my appetite back.

I visit Feast once a week for breakfast and have gravitated over time to their«near perfect» eggs benedict. I cannot recommend these more highly. The staff are relaxed and friendly and I enjoy the atmosphere. It isn’t too noisy, although it gets insanely busy on weekends. visit the deli next door for some treats to go and fresh breads.

I agree with the reviewer above… such a treat! Feast offers a five pound takeaway lunch that is the perfect for a little picnic at Alexandra Palace. The shop is beautiful with a really old-world feeling and all of the wares on display. I stopped in for tea and cheesecake with strawberries 30 minutes before closing, and was still welcomed and served without complaint. Note: The street the shop is located on is also delightful. Great bookshop, barber, housewares shop.

A lovely place to drop in for good coffee and cake. Two homely large tables would soon become crowded on a busy day but take aways available. The atmosphere is homely and friendly and the shelves filled with great tempting products in a large kitchen type atmosphere. The staff are friendly and nice. The deli counter has beautiful cooked meats and salads– they might be a little more expensive than in the supermarket next door but they taste a great deal nicer in this friendly comfortable shop under the soft green hangings. The bread is freshly baked daily and tastes great as do the cakes which decorate the shop and are also baked on the premises. If you want to dine well then step into the restaurant next door– great food at a decent price.

Feast is not a feast in the traditional sense. Feast is about quality not quantity. This store sells speciality products and baked goods. They sell a delicious section of cheeses and chutneys in all different flavours even hard to find brandy enhanced Chutneys and pickled chutneys. The staff is happy to cut you the smallest portion of cheese you desire and the cured meats look really yummy sitting in the case. There is a café next door which sells baked goods and simple coffee drinks as well. Try the blue cheese, for the perfect milky taste with a delicious rind. The staff will let you try any of the cheeses first, except parmigian. That circle of yum can’t be cut the old fashioned way.
