Awesome lunch find! Love that it’s a lighter version of pizza, with super fun combinations. Great prices and friendly staff. Will go back!

I was really impressed with this place! Added it to my list of places to come due to reviews on here — good quality ingredients, tasty and value for money at £6 but what I hadn’t realised that was for take out! The cheapest ‘eat in’ flat bread is actually £7 and the ones with toppings I’d normally go for were £8.50. This place serves coffee, cake(didn’t try any) and flat breads served like pizzas with different toppings and then put through the grill. Simple and a bit pricey at £8 but both me and my bf were so impressed with the flavours. We got a flat bread each and were satisfied when we left(we both had a cookie at the cinema but wasn’t essential!). I went for the Moroccan chicken which had houmous, sour cream, tonnes of chicken, mint and basil(really recommend) and bf went for the chorizo one which has a tomato base(one of the best I’ve had), chorizo, rocket and parmesan shavings. There were lots of other tasty sounding toppings so I’d definitely go back and overall walked away impressed!

I was in search for a bargain lunch on Saturday in the Central London area, this was going to be tough, but I was determined to find something that wasn’t touristy. This is where FlatPlanet met all requirements. My friend was running late, so I decided to have a coffee out the front of the small café. They only have two tables out the front, and around 10 – 15 on the street level, though later I discovered they have more seating downstairs. The service was fast and friendly, and the coffee was strong, and delicious. When my friend arrived, we were presented with menu’s. I felt spoiled for choice, there was so many tasty sounding flat breads. I settled on the Moroccan Chicken. The flat bread was large, and covered with a generous serving of hummus, yogurt, chicken, basil, and cherry tomatoes. It was exactly what I was craving. The entire check came to £20 including service, which is definitely a bargain for something so delicious right in the heart of tourist city.

I came by here while walking thorough Soho on the way to Chinatown. It looks like a great place to order a pizza big enough for one, which will be made freshly for you with a small wait. Given this was a pre-dinner snack for me, I only went for the Cheese and Tomato. The Meatballs and the El Diablo would have tempted me if I were going for something more filling. The pizza was ready in around 5 minutes and I ordered it to takeaway. It was easy for me to eat while walking down Berwick Street and it certainly hit the spot at the time.

Great place for a quick lunch! Wonderful fresh produce and highly recommend the juices as well. Very fresh taste all around. Also not too loud music and relaxed atmosphere and fast free wifi. Highly recommend!

I took away lunch– quite difficult to eat in the office. But it was ok, good alternative to sandwiches, left me feeling full …:) I am yet to try other options to increase the rating tho!

Flat Planet take away is a great alternative when you feel like treating yourself a little at your desk at lunchtime. Service is quick, and the menu filled with tasty options. The spelt flatbread is the prefect thickness, options for toppings great for meat eaters and vegetarians. I had the cheese and tomato, my colleague the club. Both delicious, although I do miss the halloumi and pomegranate — which is no longer on the menu.

Nice little cosy and friendly restaurant with Moroccan food. All plates I saw, looked delightful and mine tasted great. Food was served quickly and was absolutely price worthy. Service was very friendly, a trait very valued. The restaurant has a cosy underground floor well put up with sofas and quaint furniture ideal for some tranquility or privacy for couples.

Cosy, comfortable and delicious flatbreads! Yum, I’ll definitely be back. After we ordered it took about 5 – 10 minutes before the flatbreads were on our table. Great!

Yum, a great place to grab a flatbread at a sitdown restaurant at a reasonable price! Alice S had recommended this place a few times, so Mel & I ended up here upon realising my favorite fish & chip shop was closed! They serve up healthy spelt flat breads, each made to order and topped with a variety of things. I’ll be honest — I forgot what I ordered. I really think we both shared the el diablo and Moroccan! I just remember wolfing it down, partly because I was really hungry, but also b/c it was just incredibly delicious! At only £6 for an eat-in price(or £5 take away), its a really good value and tasty lunch in Soho! It was good enough to hold us over, though I’m sure if we ordered a 3rd one to share, we’d have room for it!

FlatPlanet was a recommended by Alice S. to me and boy am I glad of the recommendation! Don’t be fooled by it’s pokey first impressions, there’s more seating downstairs. And a piano! I had the pleasure of listening to some other customers play beautifully while I waited on my friends to turn up. It’s very funky, hip, urban, boho, shabby chic — phew! That’s a lot of adjectives but it’s all true! There’s even a blacked out wall that you can write/draw on with chalk. The staff are friendly, charming and very accommodating. Normally, you can order from your table. But if, like me, you make a boo-boo and go straight to the counter they’ll find you and bring it to you anyway. Their main fare are English spelt, flat-breads with some delicous ingredients layered on top. I had the Mushroom, which, as you can gather had mushrooms! But also garlic butter, parmensan, blue cheese and parsley — Yum! It was a deliciously satisfying. So, all this sounds great, right? So, here’s the real clincher — it’s really affordable! You get good quality, healthy, wholesome food, with good atmosphere, staff and vibe AND it’s good value for money! What’s not to like!

FlatPlanet is a decent alternative to your normal sandwich shop. Pretty good if you like what they are selling. The shop is so named for it’s flat open-faced sandwiches that look more like pizzas than actual bread and meat meals. It’s a funky, lively atmosphere with people rushing about, or lining up to take to go. There’s Christmas lights on the wall and couches below, very comfortable in Soho. You can either line up to take to go or sit down at a table and they’ll come take your order. I did the later and the service was top notch and the food came quick. My only real issue was some of the chairs, which were incredibly uncomfortable. Like indented weirdly so they dug right into you. I traded for a different chair as soon as I sat down. There is a basement below, so don’t be fooled by all the tables being taken as you come in. Lots more seating below. The food was quality. I got the mushroom with added pancetta and it was tasty, flavourful, hot, filling for only about £6, There may have been a little too much cheese on it, which overwhelmed the flavour a bit, but beyond that, a good meal. Not sure I’d come back here often as I still prefer a regular sandwich but if friends were going, I would not mind.

«When can I go back to FlatPlanet®?» I ask myself this every time I’m in SoHo, or every time I crave hummus. Between the two, that’s about once or seven times a week. I had the Moroccan Chicken, a chicken-y, hummus-y, sloppy affair. I loved how flavorful it was without being overwhelmingly salty, sour, or spicy. I loved how fresh and light it was without being portioned for an ascetic monk. I loved the take-away price of £4.95. Hopefully a second, possibly eat-in, experience will cement FlatPlanet®‘s gravitational pull on my palate. I note that they also host small live performances, the programming of which seem a little«granola» for my taste, but is very true to its strong grassroots ethos that permeates the copy and ambiance – perhaps they feel they have something to prove because the founder also created the LEON chain. Maybe it’s because they insist on incorporating«®» in their name. Finally, major kudos to any place that has a real person’s email address at the bottom of the menu. That’s some guts right there. So… When can I go back to FlatPlanet®?

This is one of those places that you walk in front of regularly but never really go into for one reason or another. The main reason for me was that it seemed like the flat things that they give would never fill my belly for the £4.50 a pop. But I decided to give it a try one day when I was looking for a Thai place nearby but couldn’t find it during my lunch hour. It turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise and have eaten from there thrice now. First and foremost, the flat things(not sure what else to call it) WILL fill your stomach. They are a bit difficult/messy to eat because the bread is sometimes not evenly distributed with topping and the topping falls off a bit if not careful. It tastes yum, but some of the flats have a lot of olive oil. Good food. But a bit clumsy.

I’ve been meaning to pop into FlatPlanet for a long time now and I decided today, during a particularly stressy shopping expedition full of bad customer service full of poor customer service, would be the day. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by two friendly and pleasant girls and while I waited for my Flat White, I had a quick nose around. The food menu looked tasty and inviting and definitely worth another visit — flatbreads and salads àgo-go and on the wall behind me was a photo wall full of fab Polaroid type pictures that made the place looked really inviting and welcoming not to mention fun and funky. My Flat White at £2 for take away was nice and the whole experience helped perk me up and I can’t wait to return.

Flat Planet is a pleasantly different place to grab a quick meal. Specialising in fairly unusual flatbreads with various tasty toppings, the food is good, the service very friendly and the décor very quirky. I’m pretty sure they’ve also got free wifi. Prices are reasonable for the food too. Worth dropping by if you fancy a change from the usuals.

Today I discovered this nice little when walking around in the area. It looked interesting, so I popped in. I only had a coffee, and that was good. I should try the«flats» they’re doing, but I cannot yet write anything about their food. The interior looks … interesting. A big world map hangs on the wall, and on most other walls you can read some greetings, probably written by random guests. I have to go there again to try the food and find out a bit more about this place and the concept. It seems that this place is sometimes also used as live music venue, branded«Flatplanet unplugged». Anyway, it’s another interesting item on my list of cafes in central London. If you haven’t been there, it’s definitely worth checking it out!

…It’s going to be OK. This is Flat Planet’s motto, and it most definitely holds true. The place makes all sorts of wonderful flatbreads with organic spelt flour and prices them reasonably, along with various fresh juices and drinks. They also have a free coffee filter machine set up for customers, which is frankly awesome. I’ve eaten here twice so far, and it complements their neighbours Leon very well. Very friendly staff and an awesome thrown-together décor. So yeah. Go to Flat Planet. It’s more than OK.
