Fook Sing Chinese Restaurant

Don’t do it unless you are very fond of your bathroom décor
.because you might be seeing a lot of it after you’ve eaten here!
I sat down for a meal here on the recommendation of a friend. he said it was good w3holesome Chinese peasant food, free of the msg and artificial flavourings of standard Chinese takeaway fare.
I took his word for it and ordered a big bowl of won ton soup, which was very reasonably priced, approx £5 or so.
The staff were helpful and attentive, and the food arrived very quickly and with no fuss. The portions were very generous, and the soup certainly looked tasty, even if it smelled a little strange.
I gamely ploughed on, assuming that I was tasting some authentic and healthy Chinese food, assuming that the unusual flavour was something i would get used to. I wish I had trusted my gut, as food poisoning is NOT fun!
