I booked 2 nights here for my mom, since I live practically across the street. My mother arrived at Gatwick at 11pm and we arrived at hotel at 00:10. Even though the receptionist said they would be here to let my mother in until 00:30 as they knew my mother was coming in late, NOBODYWASTHERE! In fact, my mother had to stay with me and my girlfriend. THEWORSTPART *THEYDIDN’T EVENREIMBURSEMEFORTHENIGHTSHEDIDN’T STAYATTHEHOTEL, EVENTHOUGHTHEYDIDN’T HAVEANYONEHERETOLETHERINWHENTHEYSAIDTHEYWOULD. What kind of business is this? Sad because they’ve got a cosy and warm pub downstairs. Big, huge disappointment.

my boyfriend’s mom came to visit so my bf booked 2 nights for his beloved mum at our local hotel. they told him someone would be at the hotel until 00:30 to let his mum into her room. at 00:10 they arrived(from Gatwick) and not a soul in sight to let her in. she bunked with my bf and I. not that big a deal, except they kept the money and took no responsibility at all. bad business move. and simply unacceptable. still, the pub downstairs is kinda cute and homey for the elderly folks in the hood.

Can I rate this at zero, I wonder? This used to be a good East End pub, but not any more. They still have a quiz night that is well attended, but that’s about the strength of it. Better than some of the other dives in the area, but I would avoid it if you can. Plus point? Well, it’s ok to take dogs in.
