As all Franco Mancas I’ve been to, this branch has a lovely little interior, friendly staff, and super yummy sourdough pizza. I love that everything’s organic and they use lots of local produce. There are meat and veggie pizza specials every day, with usually quite original toppings. The pizzas are ready in no time but this is the only place in Southfields where you actually have to queue to get a table on most nights. As the space is small and crowded, the noise level can make it hard to hold a conversation, so keep than in mind as it might not be the right choice for all occasions. They don’t deliver but you can order and pick it up after just ten minutes.

If I’m perfectly honest, the fact that Franco Manca is located in Southfields was one of the main reasons I made the decision to move into my new house. The first time I tried their pizza was in the food court at Westfields and I was not disappointed! Now that it’s just around so the corner from home, a direct 200m from my tube stop, I can have it anytime I want. It’s all about the dough at Franco Manca. The toppings are light on, because the chewy, sourdough Base is the main event. And at less than £7 a pizza, the price is right too.
