This Pub is not longer in business. Very disappointing.

My all time favorite fish n chips in London. No matter where I’m staying when I visit, I’ll cab or walk to this spot on Elizabeth Street. Their sausage in batter is delicious, and they have gherkins a plenty. Grab a shandy to go with a large cod and chips. They have extra katsup and condiment packets for an extra charge, and also have bottles of vinegar that you can buy. If you want extra salt, they’ll wrap some up in a piece of paper for you. I love the guys that work here — all super nice and they seem to love the American accent. If you can’t decide what to eat, there’s a kebab place a couple doors down!

I’d probably go 3.5 stars if i could do halves. Fish was good, had the cod, skin on, fried, and oily, but I like that, was just so-so to my wife. The best thing about the meal was the Chips! Home cut(thick cut) chips that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, probably some of the best chips I’ve had out!

Saw the previous review on Unilocal and went to eat here because it was super close to my hotel. I do agree that the fish was cooked well, crispy outside and soft and flaky on the inside. However, I didn’t think it had much flavor. To be fair, I order a lot of fish and chips in the US and maybe I am just used to that flavor and all the saltiness of US foods. Maybe this is what real fish and chips should taste like. The place itself is very casual. Located next to the Victoria Bus Station.

This was the best little find while roaming around the streets of London near my hotel. This hole-in-the-wall served up THE best fish-n-chips I’ve ever tasted in my life. The fish was so crisp on the outside yet so flaky and tender on the inside. It was the best meal I had in London.
