Friendly movers is a Man & a van company. I was impressed by their easy booking system. You can see available slots online and book it immidiately. We booked a slot for 12pm. It was an easy job — transport of two IKEA bookshelves from SE10 to SE9. At 11am I got a phone call that they are an hour delayed. That was okay with us but I told them that the storage will close at 2pm. They must be there at 1pm latest. Surprise, surprise nobody showed up at 1pm. I called them at 1.30pm.
We managed to bring our stuff out to the car park of the storage. I had the feeling that they will be delayed again. I was right. They told me the driver won’t be there before 2pm and finally he showed up by 2.10pm when the storage was closed already.
They have very good prices. That’s why they got 2 stars. But a delay of 2 hours can be a serious issue if you are moving Next time I pay more if people are reliable.
