Horrible service. Didn’t have a chance to eat because they would not tell me when the kitchen opens(and that was at 18.30!)

Really like the garden here — just wish it was a bit easier to get to.

This is one of the best pub garden’s in London, perfect for a sunny day visit it’s even good in rainy weather with roofed areas to keep out of the rain. It’s a Utopian outdoor space, full of plants, out of the way, quiet and lots of seating. A little oasis of secluded green where when you fancy something to eat and drink, you don’t have to go to the park. I love the internal décor too, it’s fantastic, so I wouldn’t mind staying indoors as well! The food is fantastic as well, although it’s on the slightly expensive side. I tried the lamb kebabs and they were extremely tasty, not chewy and they came with a heap of salad. Fantastic! The only con I can really find for this place however is that they don’t have a very good selection of drinks. This is very limited.

What a lovely pub, nicely decorated in the dark and dingy style inside, but on a sunny day, the Garden is the place to head to. A truly massive outside space, that somehow manages to stay cosy at the same time. The food is palatable and well cooked and the drinks are well kept if a little on the pricey side for the area. The only potential issue is that it often seems a bit… Well quiet… Maybe because the tube station next door is shut at the moment, but it could do with a few more people around(I know I’m going to regret saying that next time I’m standing three deep at the bar waiting to be served)!

Whoah! Looks like they need to pay for the redecoration. A pint of Staropramen costs £3.80 and a Hoegaarden is a fiver! If there were any alternatives in the area we’d be there. Meanwhile, I can’t give this place a five anymore — way more expensive than is justified!

Looks like The Station House is going back to its roots. Recently renamed Garden Bar & Grill, they are now hosting live music events again. It obviously won’t be Bob’s Goodtime Blues(how embarrassing, the current owners refer to it as Bad Bob’s Blues) and it probably won’t be free, but any venue putting on live music these days is a winner in my books! This is my local, too. It’s gone through quite a few reincarnations, starting off as a live venue for blues — every night — free a long time ago. It is now a very decent pub, even though I was very disappointed to see the chef shopping for frozen chips in the supermarket across the road. The chicken burger still is a favourite guilty pleasure.

This is my local pub and how lucky I am to be able to say that! It’s just gorgeous. Inside is really big dark wood décor, very spacious with big tables and lots of room to stand/perch/walk around but the best thing about this pub is the garden area. It’s really big and secluded and there are huge wooden tables under porticos covered in gorgeous plants. It feels really cool in the summer and they put heaters out there in the winter for those who smoke. It’s conveniently located practically opposite Latimer Road tube station, so even if you don’t live in the area, I’d recommend hopping on the tube and heading to the Station Pub if you want somewhere that you are sure to love!
