Very very good place. Delicious ice cream. My only complaint is that they leave their left over ice cream in the freezer over night. The way I know that is because I can see through there window(somebody might steal!). Quite expensive though, ice cream something like £2.30. Another positive review is that it has the best waffles I ever tasted! Must go there, Best shop in St. John’s Wood High Street. The price £2.30 is for strawberry with smarties. Would you be tempted to go there?

Gelato molto buono — Very nice ice cream Il gelato e’ buono, un po’ sovrapprezzo ma dopo tutto e’ Londra. Abbiamo preso soprattutto crème. Non e’ molto dolce né cremoso ma meglio così per me. The ice-cream is a bit pricey but a top italian icecream in London. It is not too sweet not too creamy, as it should be for a natural ice-cream

This is a decent Italian ice cream shop in St John’s Wood. Plenty of flavours. I’m not a sorbet person so I’m having gelato. Cioccolato(dark chocolate) and pistachio favourites. Bacio(hazelnut & chocolate) is a good try as well. When the British summer comes be ready for long queues. Smelly restroom needs improvement. I must say that the owner of this chain is lucky to have such nice managers. I haven’t seen any managers as cheerful and welcoming as this café has. Great job!

Such good gelato, tons of flavors and really friendly people! Wayyyy better than the Snog at the other end of the high street.

Gelato Mio in St Johns Wood is a small italian ice cream shop. The experience of eating there is somewhat different than the quality of the ice-cream, so let me just separate the two. The ice-cream/gelato is first class. Five stars. Great flavours with some italian flair and authenticity. Stracciatella, Biscotti etc. all very good. Price is on the higher side, but I suppose we are used to paying for ice-cream what we would otherwise pay for a quick lunch. The experience is less than first class. They don’t have a lot of people manning the counter, specially on hot weekends when this place is packed, and hot, with long lines. The seating is sufficient for a week night, but not for a sunny Sunday. Also, is it not a corner shop, so the lighting is a bit dim inside. I generally get the ice-cream to go. Besides, loud screaming kids and large prams are not my idea of a relaxing Sundae ;)

This place has decent gelato. It is quite tasty, but the price is a bit steep for gelato relatively. For the smallest size, it costs about 3.99 pounds, and you can get half gelato of two flavors. The portion is still more than enough for 1 person, but the price is just a bit high for gelato, especially there are very good pastry places nearby as well.

There are several Gelato Mios in London and I like them all! I came to this one with a group of friends and lucky for us, there weren’t many people there. It’s not a huge place, but it was perfect for a small group of friends to relax and hang out while eating delicious gelato. I am usually a chocoholic but whenever I go to Gelato Mio I always try to get one chocolatey flavour and one fruit sorbet because I can never decide which of theirs I like more. The pear was delicious, the strawberry very satisfying(especially with chocolate!), and the peach was sublime. I also love the hazelnut(my favorite gelato flavour) here and the bacio(hazelnut + chocolate, you just can’t go wrong!). It is not the best gelato I’ve ever had in London(and London has many great gelato places), but it is definitely high quality, very well-made, and delicious. I also love the gelateria itself which is a great place to hang out and just so cute with it’s orange walls with a teapot on them, and it’s history of gelato wall which is actually fun to read while savoring a yummy gelato. I brought a friend who was visiting London for the first time with us and he really enjoyed it too. I was told by a happy employee that if you go to the Gelato Mio in Fulham you can actually see them make the gelato. She told me this with pride as she served me the delicious strawberry gelato for which she had chopped the actual strawberries she said. I look forward to checking that out too, I’m sure I can count on it being great too!

Having had gelato at the original Gelato Mio in Notting Hill Gate, I immediately recognised the same orange branding of this branch in St John’s Wood. They offer the same high quality ingredients in their gelato — I especially like their sorbets and I enjoyed a kiwi and banana flavour today. £2.90 buys you a single scoop in a cup or cone with a complimentary wafer. They will give you samples to try if you’re not sure what flavour to go for. They also offer some tempting looking cake and Illy coffee They also have a loyalty card scheme. So, if you like gelato, make sure you get this card filled in

It was a nice and sunny Saturday afternoon and I walked along St. John’s Wood High Street. Right, that’s what you do on a Saturday in St. John’s Wood. Sometimes at least. Anyway, I was there and suddenly felt the need to enjoy some ice cream. As I was not the only one with that brilliant idea, I had to queue for a short time, but not too long actually. I finally selected Stracciatella and Strawberry. My choice was very welcomed by the guy behind the counter. I guess he tells everyone that your choice is just perfect, but perhaps he’s also right every time?! The most important thing to note: I was happy with my ice cream! It tasted delicious and the scoops are huge. The prices kind of match the size of the scoops. But as the scoops are really huge, the prizes are quite okay. At least okay for St. John’s Wood High Street, I guess This is in my opinion definitely a good place to get some ice cream.
