Glamour House

All my life I have kept switching hairdressers in trying to find the right one — I have always been jealous of those people who have the same hairdresser all their life. Getting haircuts for me has always been an awkward experience — between the really sweaty hot lights, the awkward conversation, and the sometimes less than savoury interpretations of the haircut you desire, I got a Living Social deal for Glamour House and was pleasantly surprised. Sergio, who washed my hair, was hilarious to speak to, and Dorota, my hairdresser, was a fantastic conversationalist and also cut my hair like I wanted. She was clear what could and couldn’t be done and was meticulous with the detail. I will be returning!
PS. The lights at the salon were not overly hot. Thumbs up!

Nipped in here after work for a bit of ‘me time’, and was thoroughly impressed by the service I received.
I had booked in for an Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow body treatment (30 mins), and a Sole Delight Grooming for Feet (30 mins). Having booked through one of those special offer vouchers, in all honesty I wasn’t expecting too much, but the competent and friendly beauty therapist, Adele, quickly set that record straight.
We began with the Sole Delight treatment, and what a delight. I have to admit that I tend to neglect my tootsies at this time of year, really only paying attention to them in the summer, but after a word or two from Adele about maintaining the expert work that she had done, I will now extend my before bed routine of applying cuticle oil to my finger nails to my somewhat neglected toes too.
The body treatment is deserving of praise too. My body was buffed and vigorously scrubbed with the delicious smelling salt product all over, leaving my skin positively glowing and incredibly soft and silky to the touch.
The facilities are clean and the ambiance in the room; soothing music, and very soft lighting during the body scrub treatment made for complete relaxation.
Thank you very much to Adele and Glamour House for a really wonderful experience. I can highly recommend this place, and would definitely consider returning even at full prices.
