Thank God for Emanuele at Goges. After my horrendous haircut experience in December(please see: Unruly Studios review), I basically never wanted to get my haircut ever again. But by August, it had gotten to the point where it really needed help. My husband even told me to go find someone with scissors and get it sorted. A woman from my choir had recommended Emanuele at Goges, and I was hesitant, but eventually made an appointment. Goges is a lovely, but really unassuming, salon on Fulham Road in the depths of Parsons Green. I walked in, sat down, told him I’d had a bad haircut in December and was still in recovery, and he said«Oh yes, I can see how we can fix this.» And he went to work. He is a life saver. This man GETSIT, and he knows curly hair and how it behaves(or, more often, misbehaves). Also, at £40, I can actually afford to go back in a few months for a follow-up trim.
