Grand Residences by Marriott – Mayfair-London

If you happen to have a friend or family member with a 47 Park Street timeshare, you can score one of the best hotels in London for 99 quid a night.
NINETY NINE POUNDS.
For said 99, you shall find yourself in a gorgeous 900+ sq ft apartment-​style suite complete with living room (with a fold-​out couch for crashers), fully equipment-​ed kitchen, ample storage space and in close proximity to both Oxford Street and Marble Arch/​Kensington Gardens.
The service is deferential to the point of embarrassment, and during my stay included a holiday champagne party complete with hors d’oeuvres, and a friendly little visit from two of London’s finest (like, FINEST) fire fighters after I set off the smoke alarm in my room with my terrible cooking non-​skills. Members (and members’ guests) get access to a fully kitted gym (with swimming pool) at a nearby hotel for free — and non-​members for a nominal fee.
The only reason I’m docking a star is that the mattress on their bed was kind of bizarrely uncomfortable.

Centrally located, walking distance to Bond Station, a couple of blocks from Selfridges. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment — very very spacious, new, comfortable. No free wireless unfortunately.
